It's my twins first birthday party on Saturday and of course everything has to be perfect

My options for cake are:

a) buy one from a cake shop, which is about A4 size rectangle and nicely decorated

or

b) bake 2 at home so they have one each (a baked cheesecake and maybe a chocolate cake)

I'm so indecisive its frustrating me!!! Should I make cakes that may not look so great, but they have one each? Or go with something professional?

wow a year has gone already, I remember when you had them

I would probably go two seperate brought cakes if you can, although at a year old, they arn't really going to care that they don't have a cake each, so sharing one huge cake would be the go as well

I probably wouldn't be bothered decorating 2 cakes for them, too stressfull lol, paying for them to be done is so much easier

yeah, it has gone really fast especially the last 6 months.

I have to factor in the stress, very true!! I think you have convinced me

I'd prob cook two.. if will look nice in their photos that they had one each.. not half a cake!

I'd even make them different, suited to their individual preferences/personalities..

I have a good friend who is a twin who hated when people made him share a present with his twin brother, and I think a bday is kind of the same..

Congrats on your LO's turning 1! How exciting!!:)
