Took 2 yrs to concieve #1 cant wait that long for #2

I have been trying since feb for number 2 no luck so far. Number one took 2 years I fell straight after a procedure to check my tubes. I am considering doing this procedure again to help me fall pregnant is this adviseable. I am 36 this year and I thought that 2nd time round would be easier I am taking pre pregnancy vitamins is there anything else i could do to help my chances I am also trying to lose weight as i weight 110 kgs I weighed 109kgs when i fell the first time. Any advice would be most helpful. Thanks Karen

Hi there Karen,

Thank you very much for your question. You most likely had a laparoscopy procedure the first time around. If you feel you’d like to check the patency of your tubes again this time around, I would suggest a HYCOSY procedure. It’s less invasive and it would have the same effect (flushing dye into your tubes, which can often have an unblocking effective) without the use of anaesthetics.
