I was thinking last night about babies with Eczema and remembering from a history show I watched that in ancient Egyptian days, the battlefield surgeons would use breast milk for treating burns.

It made me wonder if perhaps this could help with soothing Eczema as well?

has anyone ever tried it? or if they have a bub with Eczema and are lactating to give it a go.

I guess you would just express some and rub it over the affected areas.

I have heard this as well, but don't know if it works.

OopsieDaisy, eczema is often the result of some sort of sensitivity. I would suggest that your nieces mummy try an elimination diet to see if it improves. While your neice is on breastmilk would be the perfect time to discover if it is a food based sensitivity causing it.
