Hi, I'm new to bub hub so apologies if there's been a lot of posts similar to this... still finding my way around!
My husband and I are TTC. We had sex a week ago which should have been around the time of ovulation (my cycle varies from month to month). Since Wednesday I have had tender breasts, with the left on in particular hurting more with sharp, prickly pain on and off. This morning (Saturday) I woke up with really sharp pains in my lower abdomen, I couldn't straighten up because of it, and it lasted about 15 minutes before subsiding. I was really hot and nearly passed out too. I had a few milder cramps earlier this week and since this morning on an off but nothing really bad and nowhere near as bad as my usual menstrual cramps. AF is due in around a week or so but I don't often get cramping until nearer AF or even after. Also, had very mild nausea a couple of times lasting a short while.
I don't know if it's too early to tell if these are symptoms of pregnancy or not. What do you think? Am I just wishful thinking?

Hi and Welcome:wave:,
I've never paid that much attention to my early symptoms but this time I was starving for about 3 weeks before I found out (found out the day AF was due so around 2 weeks dpo and 4 weeks from LMP).
You might be able to test as early as 10 dpo so in a few more days. The cramping I don't know if it might be you just paying extra attention to something that is common. I don't know much about implantation cramping but I didn't think that happened right away.
In any event good luck this month. Hopefully you'll get your :bfp: in a few days.:babydust2::babydust2:

I have to say that they do sound like the preg symptoms i got with DD#1. However they also sound like the phantom symptoms my body produces when im ttc and not pregnant. Your body is very good at doing what you want it too, like feeling preg when your not. :o
so best bet would be wait till af is due and then test, and try to remain calm till then (easier said than done:rolleyes:). At the end of the day if your preg you are preg and you will def find out in due course. Plus if you find out to early, the wait till12 weeks is so much longer!
Hope for your sake you get a big:bfp: when you do decide to test. Good luck:fingerscrossed:

I had cramping for around 2 weeks before I did an HPT. I never got cramping any more than maybe 3 or 4 days before AF was due. My breasts were extremely sore (I often had tender breasts around AF) and I lost my appetite.
:fingerscrossed: Fingers crossed for you. My early symptoms were excessive weeing and I was very hungry all the time, I clicked I could be pregnant when I was getting up 2-3 times a night to go to the loo. I was naughty and tested a couple of days before AF was due and :bfp: bingo!!!!
Goodluck:flowerz:

Thanks for the responses... AF is due in 6 days and counting so guess I'll wait till then. my body does have a knack of 'creating' symptoms so I'm trying to not get my hopes up... We've only been TTC for a couple of months so we're early days but its already all I can think about! fingers crossed

Hi Emsipops, thought I'd send you a reply as I'm also new to bub hub and planning to test in a few days time....I've also had alot of symptoms the last week, but I am trying not to get my hopes up...the TWW is torture!
I'm fairly sure I ovulated on Sat 30th, my P is due Fri 12th.....I did a test way too early (BFN) on Sat morning. My symptoms the last week have been pretty much a constant feeling of pressure/mild cramps in lower abdomen, sore boobs, one day last week I had heartburn/reflux which I haven't experienced for over a year. I'm finding it uncomfortable to sit down and lean over to do things like tie shoes....and occasionally very mild nausea.
Overall the main symptom that is different to any other month is the fairly constant feeling of pressure in lower abdomen area (or something going on down there...)
All the best for the next week.....hoping we both get our BFP this month!:) :bfp:

Thanks mumin2010, I'm tryin to not get my hopes up to but its so hard. Af due 14th so only a few days to go... Feeling nauseous at the moment in the morning before I eat and in the evening but not been sick. Not sure what that is cos think its too early for morning sickness!
Boobs aren't as sore but feel bigger and still getting cramps, could be af. Also had a 'fluttery' feeling, for want of a better description! like nervousness but in my abdomen. Trying to tell myself its in my head so I don't get too disappointed if af arrives. Also feeling so tired and was lightheaded for a while this morning but am busy at work so that might be nothing too!
Its so frustrating that all the early signs could be af or easily created by my head!
Fingers crossed for us both this weekend! Keep us posted!
