Hi all I have a 9 month old son and I just wanted to ask a couple things. 1st I was wondering when I start feeding him eggs do i give him the yolk or the white?
And also, can I feed him salade vegies like tomatos, lettus, cumcuber and stuff like that. That it I think thank u hopefully you can help.

i don't see why you can't feed him any of those things. i give them to DS and he's a bit younger than yours.

so far no yucky reactions.....

yep, you can give him all the stuff you mentioned. Just make sure the eggs are really well cooked and not runny, just to be on the safe side (we don't want nasty salmonella!) :thumbsup:

Don't feed your bub eggs until at least 1 year old. The whites are more likely to cause allergies than the yolks.

Ds had a nasty reaction to egg almost straight away and it was a bit scarey. He was seen by an allergist and was confirmed to have egg and peanut allergy. Waiting those extra few months can make a big difference to their bodies, the allergist told me they're far more likely to have a reaction under one year old.

Hopefully your bub is fine when you do try those foods. :D
