Ebay Wedding Dresses

Okay, I am planning my wedding finally. Unfortunately we dont have alot to spend, but I really want a nice wedding dress... So, how many of you bought yours of ebay, how did you find the transaction, dress... etc. All feedback wanted good or bad! Please post pictures if you can. TIA

My friend got one made and sent from overseas via Ebay...she didnt like it although everyone else said it was nice.

She ended up buying another one from a wedding dress shop for her big day.

I have never seen it, so really i am not much help.

Her Mum had her dress (for the wedding) made from the same person and it was lovely and was made exactly to her mesurements.

I bought mine off ebay and loved it. It cost $212 made to fit and delivered to my door. The same gown from the designer would have cost $2000 and at the wedding one guest thought it had cost me $4k!!!!

I'd rather not post photos due to privacy but believe me, the dress was gorgeous.

One piece of advice I can give is to make sure you try the dress on in a boutique before you order it because something you love on paper/computer might not suit you so you'll be disappointed when you get it - does that make sense?

Look through designer sites like Alfred Angelo, Wendy Makin etc etc and see if there are any you like then it's easier to find them on ebay than to find one on ebay and then have to try and find out who the designer is.
