i like the idea of the bamboo, and have seen that these are fast drying.
also, in regards to the cover (i am new at this so excuse my ignorance) but if you buy say 4 nappies, do u need 4 covers? do u need to change the cover at every change? tia

hey
i've been using BBH fitted bamboo and also hemp for the last 3 months for ollie.
they aren't exactly fast at drying, the hemp are faster, in summer it takes about a day (say 10am til 4 ish?) (for me at least), now it's winter obviously it's taking longer, if i put them out at night (10pm ish) most are ready by about 3pm ish, that's inside with heaters on though.
they say you need 2 covers per day to alternate them but if you're just getting 4 then 1 or 2 would be fine, and no, you don't have to use BBH covers, i've used a mother ease with mine which was fine
hope that helps!

BBH fitted bamboo are our work horse(every day home) nappies,we love them .
over the years with foster kids and now with DS.
bubbleandme is right saying they can take a day to dry or two in front of the heater in winter but we love them very easy and fits every child we have had in our care.

I love them. I use mine overnight teamed with a bamboo foldup booster and a wool cover.
You can get away with 2 or 3 covers as long as you air them out between uses. And it doesn't matter which brand cover you use.

they didnt suit us so i sold them off. turns out i am not a fan of fitted! :)
I used fitteds when DD was 0-3 months and I was told I would need 4 covers if I was using fitted full time. I must say, I bought 4 covers and I never used them all.....they only need washing every now and then to freshen them up, unless they get a poo on them of course.
I don't use fitteds anymore, also not a fan.....but so many people swear by them that I think I must've been doing something wrong:confused:

I love them, my 2 baby beehinds bamboo are my favourite of my nappies, with my 6 baby beehinds hemp coming a close second. I have one wool cover that I use with them. Also, if I catch it immediately after bub wets, I only need to change the snap in booster, not the whole nappy. (If a few minutes passes, then it soaks through and the whole nappy needs changing.
They are not fast drying, however. Since they dont have any PUL they should be alright i the dryer, though I'm not sure whether a dryer might damage the elastc.

It says in the BBH booklet I just received with my pul covers not to tumble dry on hot, but warm is ok.
