Hi everyone,

I've been reading some of the other threads in this forum and have gotten so much encouragement just from reading them. Thanks heaps for everyone's sharing.

We are currently going through IVF for the second time round, having been blessed with a lovely miracle DD in Jan 05. We just had our first FET embryo transfer last Tues and are now doing the LOOOONNG wait. I'm trying to not get to anxious, think positive etc but these waits are torturous ( as we all know). Just wondering if anyone felt like sharing their own FET cycle success stories - it would really encourage me in the more anxious moments! Also, what early signs of pregnancy or implantation did you have ( if any?) before the confirmation by blood test?

Thanks heaps :fingerscrossed:

Hi Supermumma:wave: , I had a frozen embryo transfer with my DS and I knew I was pregnant before my BT because this was the only cycle I did that my AF didnt come before my BT. Every other cycle I did, my AF would turn up a few days before the BT. I also had cramping down below and felt twinges "down there" and I started weeing alot more and felt so tired and moody in the last week.

I was so overjoyed because I never thought after 5 cycles we were ever going too have a success story, but on our 6th cycle, a miracle happened and our beautiful baby boy was concieved! He is the love of our lives and I thank God everyday for blessing us with him.

Good luck with your 2WW. It is a bummer of a time as you know, but fingerscrossed you get a BFP!!!! Keep us posted!!:D

Thanks heaps for sharing your story Brady's Mum!I want to read as many positive stories and info as I can.

We are up to Day 8 and all is good so far. I've also had twinges and crampy feelings which i don't usually get with my AF so I am hoping this is a good sign. They lasted for about three days but have gone now. I also seem to be weeing a lot but part of me is paranoid that I'm just trying to notice symptoms to convince myself I'm pregnant.

Did you do a home pregnancy test? We did the night before with our first IVF miracle but in that instance I was hyperstimulated so never had the pregnyl injections which i hear can give a false positive. My instinct this time , if AF hasn't arrived is to wait for the BT.

Its a crazy thing this baby making business. Hopefully have good news for you in 7 days time!

Hi guys

I am 12 weeks pregnant with #2 from our 2nd FET... Pretty lucky considering we only have 1 embryo left!

I really didn't think it was going to work for us this time - we had a failed FET in October (still breastfeeding(?)) and that shattered me. I was seriously expecting to have to go through a full IVF cycle again. I did a HPT 2 days before I was due to have my beta, and couldn't believe it when there were 2 lines! I feel so incredibly blessed!

Incidentally, I'm off to spill the beans at work today and hand in my maternity leave form! :smiliedance:

Good luck to all those in the the 2ww - it's just torturous isn't it?!

Best wishes to all!

Cheers!

my daughter is a FET baby, I have been lucky to have 2 pregnancys from FET cycles and are hoping for just one more:fingerscrossed: . It is a little ironic as they seemed to work better for me than freshies.
Good luck not too many more days.
Bec

Thanks so much for your stories Brady's Mum , Petster and Beckles. They really do help keep my mind positive though the last couple of days i've started to 'just feel' that I'm not pregnant. I'm pushing those thoughts away as best as I can as it won't change the outcome and I don't think anxiety helps with the whole implantation process.

I guess I've just been comparing my feelings and body responses to the time we fell pregnant with Bronte our first miracle. She was a fresh transfer, a better embryo and I had an implantation bleed ( which I thought was my AF at the time but it never developed further). Also, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis which dramatically improves when you fall pregnant so had a sense I was pregnant when I went for my blood test just by how I was feeling. I don't seem to be having those same experiences this time.

Still, I only have 4 days to go to find out unless my AF arrives which it is due to do tomorrow.I know we are incredibly blessed to have our DD. If this transfer doesn't work we have two more straws left. The main dilemma is that I have to go off my medication to fall pregnant so time if of the essence. If they don't work I'm not sure we will try again as beings off my medication wreaks havoc with my body.

Its so helpful to just have a space to write some of these things down and to hear of other women's stories. Thanks so much for sharing. I'll keep you posted and I go through the last long (!!) four days!:fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed:

Hi everyone

Quick update! So far so good! I thought my AF was coming yesterday and felt a bit flat but doesn't seem to have eventuated so I'm still hopeful. Can't believe that this time in two days we will know - I'm so over the waiting that I think I just want to know one way or the other. Will post as soon as I find out!

Hi everyone

We found out our results today - a BFN. We're sad and disappointed but already starting to think about when we will try again. Thanks heaps for those who wrote - it really helped. I'm sure I'll be joining one of the other threads or posting again in a little bit when we are in better frames of mind and starting cycle no. 2.

Thanks again.
