Luckily for me DS2 doesn't poo that often....
The ones that he has pooed in still have a dark stain even though I have had them out in the sun 3 days in a row.
I also washed them straight away so the poo was sitting on there for very long.
What am I doing wrong?
What can I do to fix it?

You could try making a past with Napisan & leaving it on the stain for a bit to see if that shifts it ... Just make sure you dont soak the nappy which will lead to it ruining them.
Sadly I have found nothing shifts G's stains ... He has bowel issues so often has very acidic potent poo which stains badly ...
Most will say the sun will remove everything & I used to think the same because I never had issues with Boof but G has shown me otherwise !

Is G your son that is on Neocate?
DS2 is on Neocate, do you think that it could have anything to do with it?
Does anyone know of anything I could line the nappies with that could protect them? I don't think that those flushable liners would be enough.

No idea about shifting the stains but as far as liners go - all I did was buy half a metre of microfleece from spotlight and then cut it into strips to fit the nappy. You don't need to hem fleece.
Hope this helps

Yep he is on Neocate but I am unsure whether thats the total problem as he is on other meds & also has bowel problems anyways ...
But it wouldnt suprise me if Neocate was in some ways the problem !
I use flushable liners a lot but I have to use two for them to work ok due to the way he poos ( explosive ) otherwise I use fleece liners but find I have to replace them heaps as they stain very very easily !

I have had problem in the last few weeks with DS having a reaction to his formula, I did what Tasma has sugested used micro fleece liners it has helped with the amound of poo that gets on the actual nappy i still found it made it around the legs and that but not all over the nappy that the bio degradable liner did as it went straight through!

Sard Wonder Stick! It's brilliant  I also cut my own fleece up to make liners to protect the nappy and keep the skin dryer.

Is that like the soap? Can you get it at the supermarket? I want some:yelclap:

Yep, the eucalyptus soap stuff. You can get it in Coles and Safeway. I only use a tiny bit now and then before a wash on the stained areas.

Thank you so much for your suggestion. It worked great.
I have also bought some microfleece to line the nappies so hopefully it's all good from now on.

Oh that's great hun. I was thinking though - best to only use a tiny amount and keep it away from the elastic and any PUL just in case it damages it :)
