One of ther best tips I have been given for my newborn is to spend a few minutes every second or so day to insert biodegradable used nappy bags into each disposable nappy. I then stack these in my change table organiser and nappy bag and then when I change a nappy, I grab a new one knowing the bag for the dirty one is tucked inside so no need to hunt for one and try to pull it out of ther box with one hand!
Saves a lot of time and hassle.
The bags come in boxes from the supermarket and are cheap and really do keep the smell in. No need for expensive nappy buckets!!
