Hi girls,
I was wondering if anyone has had a tubal ligation reversal?
My partner and I are considering it.
After my 4th child my ex partner and I decided 4 was enough so i had my tubes tied. Unfortunately my partner died and later i met a great guy who i am now engaged to..... and now we would like to have a child together.:hugs: * as if the 8 we already have between us isnt enough*:banghead:

I dont even know if this thread is in the right topic.. if not could someone please point me in the right direction.

Cheers

I have had the reversal done for almost 4 years now and I got pregnant but not the way I wanted it to end up.the baby was in the tube and my doctor said that there was a chance it could happen.I had surgery on june the 9th and ok but very sad. Please think about it long and hard before you do it.And are all the risks worth it.to me they are.:banghead:
good luck in your decision let me no how it goes. :)

My Aunty had her tubes untied. She found it a little difficult to conceive, but ended up having a successful pregnancy through the use of IVF.

Thanx girls... getting married on the 10th of Feb 2007.
My doc said that it would be high risk of not being about to have IVF as i have had 3 c sections and there would be too much scar tissue, but fingers crossed.
I get my report from my ligation sometime this week to see what was actually done. Wish me luck .... will post again shortly !

Hi

When I had my last c-section we were thinking about getting my tubes tied but decided against it after we were told that there is not a doctor in qld that will do a reversal. I dont know how much truth in this there is but I would go and see a doctor and find out if it is even possible

Hope that hepled

Hi everyone, I am looking to have a reversal too. I had my ligation a c-section and found two dr who will do the procedure but it costs$$$$. They have told me too about ectopic pregnancy but I was not of a sound mind when they did the ligation and I am now paying for it. The two DRs are Dr cooper and Dr woolcot. Has anyone had their reversals done by either of these?

I think I would be too late to answer you question but let me say most of the tubal ligation reversal (http://www.womenhealthzone.com/tests-and-treatments/have-you-heard-of-tubal-ligation-reversal/)have been successful. But IVF has proven to be disadvantageous because of its ill fate. Jennifer got IVF done twice only after getting it done for the second time she was gifted by a baby.

It depends on different hormonal balance and genes to respond to different treatments. I would most probably suggest you to go for tubal ligation reversal. Best of luck.
