Hi There,
I have a almost 3 year old DD and the last few weeks I have been taking the nappy off and I have been putting the potty in the living room. DD will quite happily sit on the potty and has done a few poos and wees.
However, if I put undies, training pants on DD she will have an accident and if I put her in Aldi training pants she will tell us that she has done a poo until afterwards.
What should I do? How do I get DD to recognise with coming into winter shall I just forget and recommence later when the weather is warmer. DD just does not recognise when she is wet and does not tell us that she needs to go to the toilet. The other problem is DD will sit on the toilet at preschool but not at home. DD told me this morning that she is scared of the toilet. How can I get DD to sit on the toilet?
Any ideas would be great. I would like to have DD TT by October as we are expecting. Should I get some old fashioned cloth nappies so she learn to recognise.
