I bought a rubber mat for the bottom of the bath to stop DD slipping. It now has a few spots of mould on it. What would be the best way to clean it? I've tried vinegar and also Mould Away and neither has worked.

Put it in a bucket with white vinegar and lavender/tea tree/eucalyptus oil and warm water and put it in the sun to dry.

I'll be trying that too. I have a bath pillow thing and when I took it down to clean the bath the other day I noticed the whole back of it is all mildewy! YUK!
i put mine in a bucket and put either domestos or similar bleach type product, leave it for half the day then i turn it upside down so the other half can soak, then i rinse it off and its pristine!!

Milton sterilising solution would work as well. After reading it on here, that's what I use on the bath toys when they start to get a bit icky.

I'm having similar problems... and the ducks are getting a bit yukky...I might give the milton a try since she chews on her ducks

Maybe try hanging it out in the sun for a while? In the past vinegar has always worked well for me and i've found it a really good preventative when used weekly too!

Bleach etc is great and works but can leach into the rubber and therefore not really safe to use for a while afterwards with little bubs in the bath.
I'd soak it in bicarb and vinegar for a day or so - voila! And natural and chemical-free, too.
bi-carb, vinegar and scrub it.
