(I put this thread in Pregnancy Loss but thought I might get some answers here as well)
Hi I came on here in January after having a miscarriage at 7 weeks. Won't need to tell everyone how devastating it was. We have been TTC for over 2 years now,
I started seeing a naturopath who assured me it was my thyroid and if I got it down below 2, I would fall pregnant and live happily ever after.
sounded great and easy. I bought the vitamins, did the detox, ate more expensive healthier food and got my thyroid tested again.
Nope it was actually higher, I think it was 4.5 or something. :hair:
She blamed it on stress and get this.... my weight.... now I am a size 10 and my BMI is 22. If anything I could lose 3 kilos at the most.
Yeah yeah I know- give her up. I came home and added up all the expenses since I started seeing her in January - $2000!!!!!
What I would like to hear to give me hope again is people who have fallen pregnant and had a healthy baby with high thyroid levels.
Thanks
