As some of you know we are moving house this week. The new house is 2 storey and I need to block off a few doorways from my DD so she cant access the stairs. (We'd also like to block off the formal lounge to keep our new couch nice for a while! )
Im just not sure where to get some long safety gates from. One of the doorways is close to 3m wide, the other two are smaller than that but bigger than a normal doorway.
The less expensive the better too! :o Im just not sure where to look.
Thanks!
(if anyone has any other ideas on how to keep her out of those areas Im keen to hear them!)

That one looks really good, but we're renting and we cant drill it into the wall. :(

Becca - I've seen some at Toys r Us which are like lattice work, they're taller the shorter they are, I don't know how tall (or short) they are when you extend them to their full length, if you know what i mean.

:) Good luck!

Howdy,
Okay it sounds lame but if you go to bunnings and get some lattice, it's really cheap, comes in different colours, is the right height and is pretty long! (obviously laying it on it's side if you know what I mean!)

Okay, I sound like a real cheapy don't I!!!! :o

Just be careful with lattice. Bub may learn to climb sooner than you realise she can.

As for renting, when it comes to bub's safety I just go ahead and put screws in the walls and repair them before we move. I'd rather a small hole in the wall than have DD pull a bookcase down on top of herself.

Aaahh good point about that! Mine isn't climbing yet....YET! LOL! :D
Hmmm....if only they made lattice that looks like a ladder...:detective: Will have to keep an eye out for that!
