Ok, I've been using PUL covers on DD since she was born and she's now growing out of them so need to get new covers. I'm also looking at getting more absorbent nappies as she's soaking through often now after 2 hours. She's so wet that it goes through the PUl cover - is that normal? Or does it mean my PUL cover isn't working anymore? And if so, why not? I've only ever handwashed the covers, in warm-hot water with normal washing powder and then line dry. The leak usually starts around the leg.

ETA: Ok, I'm looking at getting some new covers. I've heard lots of good things about Babybeehinds covers. Anyone tried the tots bots flexiwrap?

Give it a little whiz in your dryer on low.

Occasionally the heat can actually help the PUL. :)

you may need to give your nappies a strip wash to make sure it's not a build up of laundry powder.
