I am starting up a new mothers group for mums who are having their 2nd or 3rd, or 4th, etc babies.:yelclap: In my town we have mums groups only for mums who are having their first babies. I really needed this type of group after having my 4th and there werent any so I am starting one up.
I have spoken to the CYH nurse and she is going to help me organise them, but I am just wondering about different topics to discuss. I am thinking "what to do with toddler while fedding baby" and "how to encourge child and baby to bond" these sort of things. I would to hear of other topics or other advice that has helped you.:flowerz:

What a fantastic idea! I wish you every luck with it. I wish I was nearer and I'd come too!

How about an issue I'm struggling with at the moment - how to make a routine when both children have different needs? (like different sleep times, plus pick ups from creche or kindy etc, etc.). I'm sure there's heaps of other 'issues' and ideas- I'll have a think.

Ohhh good idea!

I know some of these have been said but my main issues:

- introducing new baby and helping toddler develop positive relationship with new sibling
- managing a routine
- still being able to manage cooking, cleaning and housework
- techniques for getting out of the house!
- toilet training toddler with a new baby
- managing your finances
- spending quality one on one time with each kid
- activities that are relevant across different ages
- sleep deprivation when none of your kids are sleeping through!

ahhhh..... i could go on forever hehe
