Okay, I have decided that i like the idea of using MCN's for my bub, as i am going through alot of $$$ in disposables. I am completely new to this idea, have no idea what the best brands are, where to buy them, or what i need... So please help me with what u use, recommend and where i can get them!!! :D

You'll find most buy theirs online - I do.
My fav brand is Itti Bitti but it all depends on which suits your child.

Would you recommend and AIO with a liner? And then just flush the liner and stick the nappy in the wash? As i said, i have no idea!!!

 I'm in WA too.
It will depend on what you find out you like as to whether you will want to go AIOs or not. There are also AI2, pockets and fitteds + covers.
You can get flushable liners and pop them in the toilet easily. You can also get washable liners. :p
It doesn't say how old your bub is but if your little one isn't onto solids and doing more solid poops then you won't find that the flushable liners work too well.
How old is your little one?

Hey Cookie!!!
I use a mix of MCN's mainly AIO during the day so no covers and fitteds at night with wool or PUL covers
some brands you can have a look at...
Itti Bitti- very trim fit well under clothes not so good for a heavy wetter at night
Baby Beehinds- Little bigger than the ittis but also ver good and you have the pocket option if you want to boost for the night
Fluffybubs- Lovely but generally only get them at a stocking
Bubblebus- Little bulkier but very nice
Wild child- Quite trim under clothes
Bumgenius- Pockets very good
Cushie Tooshie- good but bulky for some
Genesa Forge- I love them they work really well for DD and trim
Iish Fly- AI2 nice and trim also
Fitteds
Baby beehind bamboo- very absorbant needs a cover we use them for a night one until our custom Genesa Forges arrive
Wild child fitteds- also good
There is also a world of WAHM ones some good others not so good. PM me if you have any questions or if you still have my number call! :)

My bub is nearly 4 months and will be starting solids in the next couple of weeks. I am interested in the AIO's with the flushable liners for day and unfortunately for the time being disposables still at night as i have to convince DP to let me use MCN's while he's around!
I love the look of the really bright coloured ones too! They are soo cute!!!
Thanks so much to everyone for their advice... Please keep it coming, im learning so much!!!

Okay, I have had a look through the above mentioned MCN's websites, and of those in stock i really like the look of the Magic-Alls All-In-One with Snaps MCN's from BabyBeehinds. Could anyone please provide advice and opinions on these. Also do i go for the Minkee or Smooth ones? Was also wondering for the Flushable Liners where do i get them and is bamboo the best or would eenee liners from baby beehinds be okay?

I am new to MCNs as well and i have found the itti bitti d'lish snap-ins to be the best fit on my bub. He has skinny thighs. I also am really happy with bonnibuns

Every type of nappy is going to fit every baby differently so the only thing i can suggest, which is what i did and am glad i did, is to try one or two of a few different brands until you suss out the ones that fit and work well on your bubba.. There is another thread somewhere about someone who bought 6 of a brand then found that they didnt fit properly now isnt sure what to do with them. This can be completely disheartening and enough to turn someone off cloth.
So have some fun with it and really shop around!

That was me!!! I REALLY suggest you don't buy lots of one sort until you work out whats best for your bub.
Its even better if you could find a real life store to look at them and play with them. i know there are a few around and i'm sure people on here could help you further with their locations

:iagree:Try out a couple of different types that you think might suit before you commit to buying lots of them. It's really hard to know what will work best for you.
Some places offer trial packs with a few different types, or just choose some out (that's what I did).
We also started out using MCN during the day, then moved to full time once we got off our training wheels. I was so pleased to not have to buy sposies again :goodvibes: (mind you, I still have one and a half packs of sposies from back then, that haven't been touched!)
Oh and don't forget to check out this site: http://www.ozclothnappies.org/info.html (http://www.ozclothnappies.org/info.html) (if you haven't already) for everything you ever wanted to know about cloth nappies!

Thanks SmileyBJ!!!
Well the first one he decided to poop in shortly after I put it on :p however the 2nd one lasted almost 3 hours (until bath time) , no sign of leaking etc. It was a little bulkier than the other trimmer fitting nappies however worked great for us and still had no trouble getting his tights and jumpsuit over the top . They take a little longer to dry also being an all in one but I think ill be getting a few more when expo arrives here!
