ewcm and spotting?

OK I'm sorry I'm sure this has been asked before, but only 8 theads come up on the search and ewcm is only mentioned in regards to it being present 'before you ovulate'

So what I am wondering, is does anyone know how much before, or is it at/around the time of ovulation? Has anyone tracked cervical mucous with other methods and noted how long between ewcm being present and ovulating and how long the ewcm is present?

I noticed a lot of ewcm this morning, I had a small amount of spotting last night and then the ewcm today was almost really lightly tinged pink but it seems things have changed already and the cm tonight is different?

Is it normal for ewcm to only really be around for a few hours, and does that mean the conception window is a few hours?

Can you spot from ovulation? or is possible i've already ovulated and it was implantation bleeding, in which case is it possible to get egg white cervical mucous after implantation, or after ovulating?

Yes, I realise using opks and temping would probably be better than this hit and miss confusing cervical mucous business, I promise I will use them next month and never ask a 3 paragraph long question about vaginal/cervical mucous again.:p

yup, ovulation spotting..normally really light pink with ewcm.

can occur up to 2-3 days after actual ovulation

most ppl dont notice it, and some dont even have ovulation spotting.

but this is a secondary fertility sign, so get off the computer and bd'ing LOL

ps. implantation bleeding doesnt happen for everyone either, and in *most* cases isnt light pink, more darkish/reddish blood.

erm--oh yeah, if your gonna use opks, use digital opks! theyre heaps easier than the normal opks!

oh and tracking ewcm, i noticed mine was around for 3-4 days on average
