Kids "after school" activites in Brisbane?

Where we live now, there's pretty much dancing and thats it, until they hit about 9 when they can do footy and netball. I'm gonna have a blast when we move to Brissie and get this huge selection of things for the kids to do. Just wondering if theres anyone here who has their kids in things like that, and what you'd recommend?? Any particular place or type of sport? I'll look in yellow pages and all that anyway, but just curious. :)

Don't know how old your children are or whereabouts in Brissie you are moving too.

But you could visit www.activegeneration.com.au they hold various types of kids activities after school and vacation care in Paddington.

Membership is $23 per week for as many classes or $10 for a 10 class pass otherwise $12 each a class.

I've been to this facility but for my baby not older children, but from what I've seen the kids seem to enjoy it and the activities look varied & interesting.
