I've started the 3-day TTing - we're on day 2 now. Yesterday morning was a pee-fest:laughing: I just about drowned in it!

By nighttime, we caught some pees in the toilet - she was able to do a small pee "on purpose" when sitting on the toilet. :yelclap:

Day two today - one accident so far. She says Pee Pee and runs to the toilet so she definitely knows where it's supposed to go.

I have two questions -

1) If she says Pee Pee every 2 minutes, do I run her there every time? I have been doing this and I'm assuming that the novelty of running to the toilet will wear off eventually!

2) She is meant to go to daycare on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I have my name down to work (casual). If she is "nearly there", should I just send undies to daycare and hope she continues with them?

If she hasn't got the idea at all, I guess I can't have her peeing all over the daycare, so should I just revert to nappies and try again in a month or two?

Personally if she is nearly there by then, I would send her in knickers ...

send a few changes of clothes, and some pullups for if it is a complete disaster....

I didnt do the 3 day plan exactly - but did my own version of it, and she had day care on day 5 .. and was perfectly fine.

Because the other kids all have to go to the toilet too, they seem to be happy to all go together.

I dont do night time, so she wears pullups at night, and I explain that these are 'night knickers' and that she still has to tell me if she needs to go to the toilet .... seems to work ok

Good luck

My DS used to run to the toilet quite a bit initially....it wore off after a couple of weeks and now he goes for longer than me during the day without a wee... I think you have to run them there every time because the time you dont there will be an accident.

My DS has never had an accident at daycare....I think this is because they are always prompting kids about going to the toilet and they take the whole group about every 1.5hrs. He is more likely to have an accident in the backyard at home when busy playing.

i would not give up and come back to it as I think that gets confusing. I did the 3 days and I didn't leave the house like it says for the three days. I also did the night time at the same time.

He has not had to have a nappy since we started. We started on the easter weekend, he has no accidents during the day, and he has an accident during the night like once every three weeks or something, it is very rare but has happened.

I would stick to it, give her the full 3 days, at the very least.
