I think it depends on the bub but we were close to a box every 2 weeks when we were in newborn. It depends on the size of your bub, and how much they wet also. Prob best to start with 3 boxes of newborn, then 3 bags of infant (they dont come in newborn) then lots of the next sizes up as they last much longer.

LOTS! Man I dont remember, but I can remember changing Jasper's poopy bum for him to poo the second his clean nappy was on - I'd change that one and as I lifted him off the table he'd poo again!
3 nappies within 5 minutes!!!
I was probably changing his nappy maybe 10 times a day roughly, so thats what, 70 nappies a week.
But then, Jasper had a dribbly bum, I'm not sure how many babies pooed constantly the way Jasper did!!!
I'd work on 8ish for a 'normal' baby I think - every 3 hours is a good nappy changing routine for a newborn in my opinion. So thats 56 nappies a week?

if you do stock, up keep your receipts! a lot of bubs either never fit in newborn size or only for a short time. You can return/exchange unopened boxes, esp. if you have the receipt

I know some people who had babies so big they started on Infant size straight away. ;)
I think my baby went through about 10 nappies a day. The 3 nappies in 5 minute experience is not unique though - so be prepared for that one! Man it was expensive!. And then I switched to cloth full-time. Now he only uses 5-6 (cloth) nappies a day.
