Has anyone had trouble with baby safaris leaking?

I think what is happening is that when DS2 wee's his doodle sticks up too much in them and it comes out..

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hey there i will be keeping a close eye on this as i have the same problem with DS! i like the nappies they are a trim fit but i think with my ds they r still alittle big. I have found them to be ok with a wool cover over the top which i will continue to do until he fills out a bit more and maybe fits them better.

If thats what is happening, then its too big on him I think. A nappy should be relatively firm when its done up, against the skin... someone jump in if I'm wrong, but I'm sure thats how its meant to go.

I agree with MJ410. The nappy should be snug against bubs skin, no gaping or gaps around the waist or legs.

you could try adding a booster on the inside of the nappy and not the pocket

I tried him with them again this afternoon.. it is the right fit around the waist and legs but it seems to be loose on the inside iykwim maybe the booster on the nappy instead of in the pocket might work.. hmm.. ill try that tomorow.. Oh one more question... If i put extra boosting in them are these good nappies for over night? (approx 12 hours)

Ok stupid question but are you making sure his penis is pointing down when you change his nappy ? May be an obvious question but sometimes we dont realise that this is a problem ..... Okkkk fine it was my issue when I had Boof, wondering why nappies were leaking etc lol !

Otherwise yes it sounds like the nappy is too big because even if it were baggy within the nappy the legs & waist being firm should contain anything !

I really like the Baby Safari we have & am pondering a few more & have actually trialled them overnite & boosted well they work a treat !
