I picked up a copy of Brisbane Child the other day and it had an advert for a baby market.
It's next month, 16th July at Nudgee college on Sandgate Rd (if anyone is interested), and has 2nd hand and new baby things.
I was wondering if any bub hubbers have been to one before and if it is worth going:confused:
I was hoping to find a bassanett and a cott..............

I am contemplating going to the Southside one as a seller. I have a lot of boys clothes in sizes 000-0 that don't fit my boy anymore but are too nice to just throw in the lifeline bins. Should I go there or would it be preferable to take photos and post a link here on Bubhub.
I would love everybodys feedback. It would be much appreciated.

I guess it depends how much money you are wanting to get for the clothes. People go to the markets wanting a bargain so you might not get as much for them. Just a thought!
Otherwise i think its a great idea! My friends and I have all decided that when we have finished with our baby stuff we're definately having a combined stall!

I am contemplating going to the Southside one as a seller.
I thought about doing that, but I thought the price to actually have a stall was ridiculous and I could do better selling the items elsewhere!
I have been to a couple of these markets and they are fantastic. I got DS's high chair and various other bits and bobs and clothes there. The big tip is that if you do want big stuff like cot, high chair, pram etc get there before it opens as there is a queue to get in and they have this weird system where you have to go to a seperate area at the front where all the big stuff is, find what you are looking for and then track down the stall holder from the number on the item. You then have to pay the stallholder for it, come back and a woman puts a sold sticker on it for you. It was pandemonium the last time we went as the lady doing the sold stickering was not really with it and got quite confused as everyone tried to get her to sort them out with sold stickers. I recommend taking a friend with you, finding what you want and getting the friend to guard the item while you go find the stall (tricky as they were not in number order last time really). The guarding approach might sound extreme but all the big stuff which was reasonably priced was sold in the first 20 minutes last time.
It was also $3 to get in last time which is a bit steep for a market IMO.
