This is usually ok in small amounts... bubs who strain to poo can get small fissures that bleed a bit. If there's a lot, or it's mucussy blood, rather than just a bit of red stuff, then see a doc.

Yeah as Nonny said its more than likely from bubs straining & causing a little tear ( fissure ) ...
I am assuming that bubs poo has become firmer than normal which is often the case around this age when either they change to a follow on formula or start solids ...
If its the former then change back to the original formula as they dont really need to changes its more a mrketing ploy !
If its the latter then take note of what bubs has been eating as this may be the cause !

thanks ladies... hopefully he will be fine.. there isn't much there at all.. he has been on anti reflux formula for about 7 weeks now but solids have come along more recently so i think it must be thatas they are fairly solid...

Aaaaaah bingo !
You will find both the formula & the starting of solids will both be at play !
The AR formulas have a thickener in them which are pretty notorious for causing constipation !
So try & see whether some pears help they are a great natural laxative & are one of the least allergenic foods !
Good luck !
