Hi girls,

I mentioned in the May thread if some of the Sydney mums were interested in a get together for a coffee/lunch/play in the park or something to meet up and say Hi.

I guess we can start by seeing who is interested and getting some feedback on where we could meet - something that will take quite a few prams I can imagine, something toddler friendly for those of us with older kids, and I guess something that's central or easy for all of us to get too?

I'm easy - I have a car so can travel anywhere. Would like somewhere for DS to come along, but if not, can organise someone to look after him.

Anyway, let us know if you're interested and any suggestions and then we can go from there!

I live on the Central Coast near Wyong but would love to come to at least one meet. I would be driving down. So something with lots of parking would be good.

Hi girls...I would also love to meet!!!
If you are stuck for a location...We could meet in our church community hall in Crows Nest. It has lots of play equipment for toddlers and babies...
Or we could go to one of those play centres...
The rain is just so miserable!! But hopefully it will clear soon! Then we could even meet outside...
Let me know if you want to use the hall facility. It is a pretty handy space...however, we'll just have to do it around other bookings...
Looking forward to it!!!
If anyone is near the Crows Nest area, we have a BH meet there on Monday mornings which you are welcome to anytime!! I can PM details if anyone is interested!

MummyJ, that's a great idea! I was actually thinking of where we could go with other toddlers, lots of prams etc. That definitely sounds like a great option to me. I guess we can see how everyone else feels then we can start the ball rolling and make a date!

Hi all,

I am thinking that getting to the city would be easier for everyone as Crows Nest is a bit out of the way for those taking public transport or coming from the south and east... :o what about Darling Harbour or the Botanic Gardens? or even Hide Park?

Any other ideas/suggestions?

I am honestly happy with anywhere...I'm more worried about the mums coming from central coast and mountains area if joining us. I guess we can determine who wants to join us. Botanic Gardens or Hyde Park does sound lovely...we can have a bit of a picnic and let the older kids run amok! Maybe parking might be an issue?
