Control crying when teething

my 5 month old is crying when i put her down during the day. I cant just put her down and let her fall asleep by herself anymore - I used to do that but it has stopped working (she will go on for over an hour and thats way too much!).
She is teething so Im sure she is uncomfortable, but I mostly notice her cries are when I put her to bed in the day (not at night). I BF her to sleep in the day - the only way it is working right now and then she will only sleep 20minutes.

Should I start CC again?

Does she still cry when you pick her up? If she stops I would suggest that she's not in pain, she just wants to be with you. Is it only when you put her down to sleep?

If you are sure that it's teeth, then wait until you feel things have settled and then start again.

You should never use CC when there is an underlying issue.
