Hi ladies!!

It's so good to be back (temporarily)... my computer really had a melt down and I still haven't got a new one. Really struggling with parting with the Krudd money... and can't decide what to get. Could be a while till I'm back on bubhub again. :(

I hope everyone is well... I'm afraid I don't have time tonight to read back on the other thread. Has anyone else got good news this month? :fingerscrossed: I hope there's some more BFPs!

AFM, I don't have my first scan until I'm 8 weeks, which is another two weeks away, so I haven't seen the heartbeat yet. It doesn't feel quite real, but with the complete disappearance of AF, I know there's something good happening. Have also felt very tired and I remember that from my first pregnancy.

Lisa, Von, Kaz, Alana, Meg, KRP, Thumbelina, Jolea, Kez, Nic, and anyone else who has joined the rollercoaster... (sorry if I have forgotten anyone)...

:hugs:BIG HUGS AND BABYDUST!:babydust2:

Morning all

Babyjoy - good to hear from you and that things are going well. Hope you get a computer soon so we can hear updates.

Kaz - sorry to see the - sign on your chart. Hopefully too early. When is AF due?

Lisa - when would you be expecting Mr Spot to show on a non clomid cycle?

AFM - grumpy today. Temp has dived - couldn't call it a dip. I wasn't overly hopeful this cycle for some reason but even less hopeful now. Only 3 days till Mr Spot is due and 3-4 for AF so I'll know sooner rather than later. It's cold (26 degrees) and wet here today. So taking DS out for a babycino with friends soon. Not much else planned other than a nice snuggly nana nap and hopefully lunch with DH.

Off to stalk Alana's chart...

Ternaya - so sorry to hear you got a BFN. Hopefully you haven't o'd yet - CD10 is fairly early. I'd be keeping the practise up if I were you - just in case.

WOO for pretty, shiny new threads...

Hello lovies... How are we all this morning???

Babyjoy - Hope you get your new computer really really soon and glad to hear all is well with your bundle of joy :flowerz: hope the next 2 weeks until your scan go really really really fast!!!

Von - :hugs: hope you cheer up as the day progresses... An afternoon out with your little man and friends sounds great! Hope you get lunch with your DH too!!! Its cold and wet (ish) here (Tasmania, North-West) at the moment too...

AFM - Well I don't think I have O'd yet (phew!) :yelclap: I've been doing the CM "test" all wrong ... Not really getting in far enough, or really collecting the CM but rather the "wettness"... So I did it right today and it is thining but globby, clear and stretches a teeny tiny bit before breaking... I found a chart that has it all on there (gotta love google) its in my diary (http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?t=252306&page=3) if anyone wants to look at it... and I'm right on track for CD11 so O is a couple of days away yet I think... So :fingerscrossed: I can keep my DH in the mood at least every second day til about the end of the month...

Only 6 sleeps to go...

Hope all you beautiful ladies have a wonderful day... Hugs and lots of babydust for EVERYONE!!!

Red and yellow and pink and green, purple and orange and blue... I can sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow (or rather a rainbow coloured post) too ...

Sorry am in a weird, happy, strange mood... I think I am on a sugar high...

Von - I saw your temp drop this morning, I hope its implantation hun, it is a big drop and I am hoping tomorrow it recovers somewhat for you. I just looked at my previous cycles and I seem to spot from 9-11dpo on a non clomid cycle and about 12-13dpo on a clomid cycle. Being 10dpo today I expect him to come very soon. Had a touch of pink cm once yesterday when I wiped so he must be on the plane ready to land....

Ternaya - Yay for not missing O! Not long to go now for you, keep busy girlfriend.

 to everyone else.

AFM - DD has an ear infection so lots of fun times here.... very sooky and not sleeping well. Hopefully the antibiotics she got today will do the trick.

Afternoon

LnW - you poor poor thing. The things we do to have a little baby. Great that you have 10 little frosties all ready to grow big and strong in your soon to be recovered belly. :hugs: and lots of healing vibes being sent your way.

Crafty - as we both know, mr spot might be a good thing. Fingers crossed the plane gets diverted with all the bad weather. We saw our old Brissie street on TV the other night - luckily we were a bit higher up from all the flooded creeks. Hope little miss S gets better nice and quickly.

Ternaya - yay for ramping up to the big O. Sounds like you have plenty of CM which has to be a good thing. You might be sitting at your dr's appointment with a baby already snug in your belly.

AFM - can't really be grumpy anymore as it's not like I'm in hospital - time for a reality check . Just pulled a flourless choccie cake out of the oven about 10 min before DH is set to return from work (its his favourite and the whole house smells delish). Quiet night in for us.

:fingerscrossed: there will be... At least something going on in there anyways...

Am glad to hear you aren't really grumpy anymore... The cake sounds yum! I love smelling cooking when I come home... Quiet nights are always good...

AFM - I am very very clucky at the moment... My aunty and I are both TTC (she's also my age and yeah she does post on bhub too) our first bubs... We went shopping today and both of us put some baby stuff on layby (naughty I know :shame:)... I also came home with 3 bibs... 2 have I love my daddy on them (to get DH excited, which kind of worked) and the other has I love my big sister on it (that one I am giving to my step-mummy)... Bought a plastic box to put it all in and decorated it with baby winnie the pooh stickers :smiliedance:

Hi gals!

have been trying to catch up on what has been happening with everyone, but forgive me if I miss anything!

LnW - :hugs:So sorry you are stuck in hospital honey.

Kaz - Finers crossed for a nice, sticky BFP when you get back home

Lisa - Hope DD is feeling better soon... I'm sick with what is either a serious cold or may be th
e start of the flu :( so I can understand her feeling miserable

Von - Yummmm...chocolate cake - hope you and DH enjoyed!

Ternaya - I can udnerstand the buying of baby things. Although we havent bought anything yet (hard to refrain!) DP was on ebay the other night and I heard "oh cute! come look at this" It was a pair of Metal Mulisha baby booties... (DP is a big motorcross lover and mainly only wears Metal Mulisha, Fox and Skin Industries) I honestly think its the first time I have seen him get excited about baby things!

AFM - CD 47 and still nothing...although am starting to feel a few AF like pains this morning, so could be on the way...will probably come for birthday on Mon...happy birthday here's AF!

Kaz - Sounds like your having fun, enjoy your time in Sunny QLD :flowerz:. I hope AF stays away tomorrow for you and your temps spike back up .

Ternaya - Thanks, DD is starting to feel a bit better. Even though she woke up twice whimpering last night in her sleep it didnt require assistance so I think she is getting better with the antibiotics. Aww how sweet going shopping with your Aunty. Collecting baby stuff is so much fun.

Von - How is your temp doing today?

AFM - Had a night on the couch last night watching the movie 'Seven Pounds' omg, I was in tears, definately needed the Kleenex! I dont cope well with movies where people die like that. Today we are having a quite day in in the hope munchkin gets better, she is doing a lot better than Yesterday. And tonight we are off to Gold Class movies and dinner so a bit of a date with munchy going to the grandmas for the night - well as long as she is well enough. Temp recovered every so slightly at 11dpo but Mr spot is starting to show so I am sure AF will be here TUe/Wed by previous indications.

Have a great weekend ladies.

Afternoon everyone

Kaz - hope you are having a great trip to sunny queensland - hope the weather has improved there. Really hope AF stays well away tomorrow.

Nic - hopefully you have ovulated late and are currently in the 2WW without you knowing it. Otherwise i hope she just shows up and lets you get one with things. Are you planning anything special for the big 25?

Lisa - enjoy your romantic night out tonight. Hope DD gets better nice and quickly. They are such hard work when they are under the weather.

Ternaya - baby things are so hard to resist aren't they - I am always drawn to little girls things.

LnW - hope you are feeling better today and get home soon.

AFM - went to the gym this morning and heading out to friends tonight. Am going to attempt a lemon tart - one of my goals while living here is to perfect one - no luck yet - might be the humidity, but more likely my technique. Nice and cool here still - recorded 24 degrees yesterday morning - the coldest I've seen since I've been here.

Have a lovely weekend ladies

Not good that AF is on her way, hope she doesn't at show on your birthday though... :hugs:... Happy Birthday for Monday in case I forget...

I'm going to try and find some Ford baby stuff cos DH is big on cars (probably why he is becoming a mechanic) and he is a "Ford man through and through" it is hard to refrain... That is why it was so easy for my aunt to convince me... Its even harder when I have a step-mum who is preggie and could go nuts on stuff there... But like I said, so hard to part with things plus she's pretty much got everything she needs already (she's almost 30 weeks)...

AFM - CD12... CM is getting slipperyer (not EW yet though) and I have had some pain so I'd say O is just around the corner... If not happening now... BD'd this morning :smiliedance: will try and get DH again tomorrow... Or perhaps later this evening... Or at least Monday sometime...

Alana, I hope you are staying safe and away from the floods. The same thing happened to my body this month - but it was only 2-3 days apart.... temp drop, ewcm followed by a temp increase, but didnt sustain and then dropped and increased again a few days later so maybe your body tried to O and didnt quite and will do again soon, or you are o'ing twice and getting double the chance, lucky gal ;)

Von - How did the Lemon tart go? That would be the way straight to my DH heart! I've got a lovely recipe for a lemon self saucing pudding.

LnW- Hope you get to go home very soon :hugs:

AFM - Just got back from a lovely date with DH. We went to see Night at the Museum 2 in GOldclass and then out for burgers and chips after it, so nice. We have decided we need to do it every 2nd month and have a night to ourselves :goodvibes:. Now I am looking fwd to the sleep in in the morning whilst DD wakes my mum up early :D

I am hoping you are right! Nothing exciting planned...just a baked dinner and some football watching:)

Lisa -Glad you and DH enjoyed your night out together!

LnW - Sorry to hear you're bored in hospy...wish I could help somehow!

Ternaya yay for o hope you've caught the egg
Nic bummer about being sick, i hope af comes soon.
AFM ff gave me o date for cd16 which is plausible so will see how we go. Luckily for us we are out of town so flood waters haven't gotten us just cut us off, the levels are starting to go down though which is good.

Nic - Sorry to hear you are so sick, that too could of delayed AF from arriving. Take it easy hun.

Alana - Glad you are safe. Yay for ovulation, it does look like it has tried twice on your chart though.

Kaz - You go girl :yelclap:, that temp you recorded this morning is amazing! Hope it means something good for you. :goodvibes:

AFM - Nice sleep in, although the body did wake up when I 'usually' get up with DD so took my temp then so it wasnt skewed. It has gone up which is nice, I just dont know if its sustainable . I'm crampy like AF is coming so we shall see. Off to pick up my little munchkin now.

Morning all

Lisa - your chart looks fantastic! AF type pains are a preggy sign too - did you have any last month?

Alana - yay for having FF confirm the O - hope you caught that egg. Whereabouts are you living?

Nic - hope you rest up today so you feel better for your birthday tomorrow.

Ternaya - I love lots of chatty posts. Hopefully the mods will put our old front page on here soon.

Kaz - will check out your chart in a minute but sounds promising from Lisa's comments.

AFM - chart is very ugly. Temp staying low so only a matter of time now. I don't think I'm supposed to have babies in Feb.

Had a lovely night last night. Finally got the lemon tart to work - followed Jamie Olivers instructions to the letter and it was well received by everyone except DH who initially said it needed another lemon and then proceeded to say "i guess I'm just used to my mothers". Needless to say there was no BD recorded on my chart last night.

Kaz - couldn't look at your chart without posting a WOOHOO! That looks fantastic. The duo BFP is looking great. Do you know if the little white box at the bottom with the T in it is FF telling you to test? (Same ones that go red and green during the cycle).

Von - Grr at your DH about talking about his mums lemon tart! We need a slap icon in here :D. Sorry to see your temp isnt going up.. Re the cramps, I got lots of af cramps last cycle around the same time as the spotting started. This cycle is very similar, but its my first cycle off clomid so not sure how thats going to come into play.

I think Kaz should test too! But not sure if she is home today or tomm from QLD :babydust2::babydust2::babydust2:

I think some of you should start drafting your BFP speeches.

Kaz - when do you get home?

Lisa - do you think you'll wait till Wednesday? It's a long way away with such a good looking chart. DH is suitably remorseful - he's a shocker at innappropriate comments. Early in our relationship I was talking about colouring my hair blonder and he mentioned that his ex girlfriends was a nice colour .

Von - I have a sneaky suspicion Kaz gets home tomorrow. Umm I have some internet cheapies I might use over the next few days. Will only test if temp is high again tomorrow. My BFP cycle I got neggies until the day AF was due. Lol about DH, he really put his foot in it big time :footinmouth: lol. Which recipe book is the tart in of Jamie Olivers? I have one of his but I dont think its in that one.... 'Cook' one seems to ring a bell to the one I have.

mrmoosmum
24-05-2009, 11:27
The lemon tart recipe is in the Naked Chef - his first one I think. Very rich and indulgent - between the pastry and filling I used 12 eggs. But if anyone decides to make it DH would suggest an extra squeeze or two of lemon. I'd have to agree but no one tell him. I'm expecting a lovely bunch of flowers here very soon. We get gorgeous big tropical blooms and they are ridiculously cheap - about $2 for a bunch - and they charge us expats more!

Von i live in NSW on the outskirts of Lismore a little village called The Channon it's absolutely beautiful. Yay for the lemon tart working lol at your dh i think i'd slap dp if he told me to colour my hair the same as his ex silly men.
Lisa i have to agree i think my body has tried twice. When are you testing your chart looks great.

Yay Ternaya! Got get em', hope you catch it.

AFM - Just got back from a lovely date with DH. We went to see Night at the Museum 2 in GOldclass and then out for burgers and chips after it, so nice. We have decided we need to do it every 2nd month and have a night to ourselves. Now I am looking fwd to the sleep in in the morning whilst DD wakes my mum up early

Thanks... I hope we caught it too... Didn't DTD last night or this morning (but yesterday morning)... Maybe later today...

Glad to hear that you and DH had a good night... I want to go see that movie... Glad to hear you got a nice sleep in with your munchkin at Grandma's... :goodvibes:

AFM - CD 48 and still nothing...the AF kinda pains I had yesterday went away and it just really feels like its not gonna happen! Well, DP and I are both really sick so I think we will spend the day on the lounge!

:hugs:'s... not good you aren't well... Hope you are all better for your birthday!!! I hope you either get a BFP soon or AF comes to visit so that you can start again...

AFM ff gave me o date for cd16 which is plausible so will see how we go. Luckily for us we are out of town so flood waters haven't gotten us just cut us off, the levels are starting to go down though which is good.

Glad to hear the floods haven't affected you to much...

Hope your tww isn't to bad and you get a nice surprise at the end of it...

Ternaya - I love lots of chatty posts. Hopefully the mods will put our old front page on here soon.

Yeah hopefully they will... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MODS!!!

Glad to hear you had a great night last night and your tart worked :smiliedance: all I can do is shake my head at the comment your DH made though... sounds a bit like mine at times... Not good about your chart though...

AFM - Well I'm 1DPO I guess... So am officially in the tww... Hoped to get busy this morning but no luck :(... Hopefully the BD'ing we did yesterday morning or on wednesday night caught the eggie :fingerscrossed: will still try again later today... Hopefully DH will be more receptive...

We went to the markets today... DH bought me a love links bracelet and some beads to go on it, I've kind of wanted one for a while, so that was very very nice of him... He even picked it all out himself :cloud9:... Is very pretty....

Ternaya - Aww what a sweet DH you have. Yay for entering the 2ww!

Just realised we don't have our list of people in the thread anymore :( anyway to transfer it over???

I have PM'd the mods and asked them to put the first post on again...

Kaz - couldn't look at your chart without posting a WOOHOO! That looks fantastic. The duo BFP is looking great. Do you know if the little white box at the bottom with the T in it is FF telling you to test? (Same ones that go red and green during the cycle).
I know love, but I'm on strict orders not to test till I get home to Melbourne tomorrow night....DH wants to be there

I think Kaz should test too! But not sure if she is home today or tomm from QLD :babydust2::babydust2::babydust2:
Tomorrow tomorrow...I loves ya....tomorrow.....you're ony a day away!

I think some of you should start drafting your BFP speeches.

Kaz - when do you get home?
.
See posts above lol:laughing:

AFM...yes a huge temp spike this morning....AF is due today.....but funnily enough I havent thought about testing till now....lol Sam and I did the local market this morning and I sold $160 worth of cocoons and homes made cards....I only brought 3 doll cocooons and 3 baby cocoons with me and would have sold more had I have brought them but I only had so much room in my suitcase...

Sammi and I have been sitting on the couch this arvo chillin and knitting....what a way to spend your time

And Lisa.......my crafty friend....I hope you are ready for a duo BFP...

Lisa - Yeah... Bring on the tww!!! DH is a sweetheart... When he feels like it

Kaz - Yay... Thanks... Wow about your sales at the markets, good haul :yelclap:!!! Glad to hear that you have had a great time with Sammi... Hope your trip home tomorrow is good...

LnW - How are you feeling now sweety??? Out of the hospital yet??? Hope you're home soon if you aren't already :hugs:

I'm having dizzy spells at the moment... What's that about

My DH just got all the pulp out of the tonne (not literally) of passion fruit we had... My grandmother insists on giving them to us.... Going to freeze it for when we figure out what to do with it... He was even thoughtful and threw the moldy ones (just outside) out because I'm allergic to penicillin and didn't want any of it getting in to the pulp :bee:

Evening everyone

I'm so excited for our BFP duo - they have such lovely looking charts.

Lisa - as you know all too well, Mr Spot has two roles - and things are looking very good that he is helping you snuggle in a little baby. Did you spot with DD?

Kaz - will DH allow you to test, have result induced cuddle and then post? Not a lot happens in PNG - I need exciting news.

Ternaya - your man is on best behaviour at the moment. Jewellery and pulp removing. I miss passionfruit - we only have the tropical equivalent.

Alana - you live in a lovely area of the world. Hope all is good there.

LnW - hope you are getting better. Will you be able to pop in one or two frosties next cycle?

Quiet evening for me. With my temp drop and lack of preggy symptoms I have to admit I've indulged in a couple of drinks (apologies for any typos). AF should show up tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest. My silver lining this month is that I have a wedding in Sydney in a couple of weeks and we are heading down for 10 days, so I'll be able to eat and drink without worrying. We are staying with family, but plan a couple of nights at the end in a nice hotel without DS - right on babymaking season!

Dear Aunt Flo

I'd like to cordially issue you an invitation to come and visit me in Port Moresby. We can go out to lunch, the gym, a few touristy places etc. Then you can go and visit some of the people (in PNG) here who would be very happy to have you visit and make you very welcome. Just don't worry about visiting any of my rollercoaster friends.

To everyone else

I've just been on wotif checking out hotel options for my trip to Sydney and there are some great places to stay and wonderful restaurants. Much as I'd prefer to be UTD, I'm going to have a fantastic time eating, drinking and most importantly not being nauseous and vomiting, so I'm planning on taking the hit for everyone else - I should still sneak into the Feb thread and catch up with you all there.

Sending you all fertile wishes... :babydust2:

HELLO LADIES!!!

How are we all tonight???

Von - Sounds like you had a nice night in... Hope you have a really great trip to Sydney... My brother and (biological) dad live up there... Yes DH has been on his best behavior today :bee: I'm loving it... about the letter to AF... Classic!!! Thank you for the fertile wishes...

Lisa - I agree, Mr Spot does have two purposes!!! :fingerscrossed: still... Its not over yet...

AFM - 3rd post in here today (and I've written in my diary 3 times as well)!!! Man do I have no life other than bubhub??? (nah you know I don't mean it)...

Well DH has been a very very very good man today... First he took me out and bought me a bracelet, then he de-pulped the passionfruit (and is going to make sorbet), then he surprised me with an impromptu BD session and THEN he defrosted our little freezer (the one attached to the fridge, our big one is frost free)... He scored major brownie points today :cloud9:... Love him lots...

Got to look after my little diva sister and monster brother tomorrow while SM goes to the OBGYN cos she has to go to Launceston (about an hour away) and they couldn't make an appointment for in school hours... I don't mind though, those kids are great!!! Can't wait til the new bubs is born!!!

Anyways lovies I have :ecomcity:d to much (yet again) I hope you are all having a good night... WOW it's already past 11... Must be bed time...

Morning Ladies,

Well there will be no bfp from this part of duo bfp.... Maybe Von you might be able to assist, judging by your temps this morning :D??? Spotting is definately setting in, crampy and have had a big temp drop this morning, so I think the slide will begin until she arrives on Weds . Oh well, not much I can do about it hey.

Hope you ladies have a good start to the week.

Aunt Flo - I withdraw my invite from last night.

Crafty - sorry about the temp drop - its not over till AF arrives though.

AFM - couldn't help myself with the temp increase this morning and a dodgey tropical test shows a BFP. I'm trying not to get excited as the test expires in a week and it could be a false positive. The test line is lighter than the control line but not too light. Pretty good for 9DPO I guess. I have spotting as well.

Ooooohhhh Mrs Moo sounds like those tiki goodies are doing the trick.....sticky vibes, sticky vibes.....

Crafty, yes sorry to hear about the temp drop but I agree, hang in there.

Have read back a wee bit, life has been pretty busy, hosted 1st int dinner party...everyone brought diff dish, theme was Indian, muchos fun. I have busted out and decided (since I had enuff left) to finish the Clomid I tried mths ago and had an awful time on. I am taking them at night with the Met and so far so good. Have to fill it all in on my chart. Been a real slacker...but that's all good, I need to distract myself or life's whole focus would be about achieving this pregnancy and miracle bubba and I don't want to blink and miss all the other wonderful things life has on offer.

I am thinking of all you lovely goyals and will have a read back with a cuppa today.

Hey Nic, are they able to give you something to bring on AF? Have you spoken to FS/Dr about it? I personally would have a BT to put my mind at rest and then take something to bring on AF..

Well I havent asked about it this time... when I had my 71day cycle last year I went to the GP and he said they wouldnt do anything until I hadnt had AF for 3 months.
I have heaps of referrals for BT (my FS just gave me a stack so I can go have HGG and Prog testing whenever I get a pos HPT!) so maybe I should go and get one done, just didnt want to waste them only to have AF show!

It makes me wonder - with such irregular cycles how in hell have DP and I managed to get pregnant 3 times out of a possible 5 months!?

 HAPPY 25TH BIRTHDAY NIC! Hope the babydust fairy grants you your birthday wish super soon. Regarding the whole missing AF thing - I'm really hoping that maybe you are having a super long cycle while you body regroups - you O approx 2 weeks before AF is due so it is possible you could be/get UTD. I think a trip to the doctor would be a good thing.

Keziah - good to hear from you. I love a good dinner party. We have friends up here who do great ones - have really raised the bar. Hope the clomid does the trick for you :fingerscrossed:.

Kaz - temp still lovely and high! I'm voting for a test as soon as you land - at 14DPO you wouldn't need to use FMU.

AFM - I've done two more tests. One was another brand up here and there is one of those super light lines that you have to look hard for. I timed it and it was there by the 5 minute limit it had on the pack. Then I did another one of the test I used this morning (same batch) with DS's sample and got a BFN and no false positive, so I'm a little more optimistic now. Still, with my history, a heartbeat and correct size for dates US is the only pregnancy test I trust.

I didn't mind, I luv hot food. Oh you gotta luv the challenge. It will bring out our *inner chefs* as we keep holding these international dinner partys....

Thanks darl... I will...

Tip... Don't use foil if whatever you're cooking involves cheese because then it will stick... Badly... experienced that with home-made pizza before... Not fun trying to peel it off...

No I don't think we have met sweet serenity moon I am Jill and have been ttc since October 2007.

I too have experienced foil stuck to a home made pizza. Very frustrating, burning your fingers and losing your topping trying to pull it off only to sit down and finally enjoy eating it -unfortunately in my case alongside the bit of foil I missed. Definitely no fun at all

Morning all

Kaz - I know how you feel - its a wonderful yet terrifying time. Has the dr suggested you do anything differently this time?

Lisa - so sorry to see such a big temp drop this morning.

AFM - woke up this morning to find my thermometer missing. Eventually found it parked inside the back of a truck inside a toy garage. DS hasn't touched it in months. So no idea about temps today. My friend bought me back a crystal clear which says you can test from the day your period is due. AF is due today at the latest but I'm only CD10 I think so probably not enough to register. I think I'll wait till Thursday morning and might pick up some more tropical tests today while I'm out. For some reason it really feels like AF is coming and my spotting is 'redder' than my last implantation bleeding. Not ready to do my BFP speech just yet - would be crediting the tiki of course. Would then be very tempted to duck down to Melbourne to hand over the lucky ones to some of the soon to be lucky rollercoaster riders.

Off for lunch with the girls at a Japanese restaurant - will have to have the grilled lobster, being as sushi and sashimi are off the list. I'm very lucky.

Hi Gals!

von - Hope that evil spotting goes away soon so that you can relax and enjoy your BFP!

Well, AF is well and truly here (never thought I would be happy to say that!) so I am now on CD1... I wonder if this cycle will be as long? I think it was the month after my last really long cycle that I got my BFP (my 11wk m/c) so hopefully the same happens again this time, just with a better outcome!

Hi Ladies

I just need some help im a little confused

I have been using OPK's since day 10 of my cycle and always negative. I am currently on CD16 and the last 3 days i have had brownish discharge and a little EWCM with it. All the OPK's are negative ( although the one i did today and last night are nearly as dark as the Control line but not quite as dark). My Cervix is still low and quite firm (medium) and the opening is a little open. I just did another OPK test and the line is lighter than the one i did 2 hours before... but i had drank two bottles of juice.. also the tests i did last night and this morning (1st one) i peed on the stick rather than dipping it in like im meant too)

Do you think i have already ovulated? DF and I havent BD since Thursday Night...

Any help would be great as i have NEVER had this before...

Thanks

www.tryingtoconceive.com/clomidsuccess2.htm (http://www.tryingtoconceive.com/clomidsuccess2.htm)

For any of you girls who are doing the 'evil' clomid.....thought this success site might cheer you up. I certainly needed it today. I am currently doing the Clomid and Metformin together for the first time as I am borderline polycystic. I will also be cracking out the Robitussin to loosen CM and carrots to increase CM. Might even pop some EPO caps to increase the CM as well as Clomid dries you up considerably. I will also put hubby on the Robi to loosen up the sperm and I have some Ginseng for him.

We are currently OFF coffee for over a mth now and are doing a 4mth stint off alcohol which we have strictly kept to bar for Mother's day (obviously) and my Int dinner party where I had prob 1.5 glasses and hubby a few beers. So really priming ourselves. I am going to temp again for this cycle and I might even OPK, will discuss that with hubby.

Anyway, sorry for the mememe, i,i,i post. It's good to see it out on the screen, now I HAVE to follow thru hehe

Von - hang in there, hopefully it's just all implantation which can vary in shades of red, how was lunch?

Kazc - let us know what the Dr recommends.

It's so natural girls that you are nervous/excited/nervous/excited....that's all part of the journey. When those eyes stare back at you for the first time recognising 'that's my mum' it will feel so worth it...:hugs:

It's BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL time. Feeling a lot better. Must have been a 48hr nasty....

Afternoon everyone

Nic - yay for AF arriving - hope this is your cycle coming up - hope you wished for a sticky healthy baby yesterday and you have a little 3 month old on your 26th birthday.

Keziah - you are doing so well on the no coffee alcohol thing. We are doing pretty well apart from a glass during the riots and stupidly, a couple of drinks the other night when I had low temps.

Boy4me - sorry I can't help on that one. I would guess that you have just ovulated as sometimes you miss the actual true positive on those sticks, plus some people get a little spotting when the egg is released. But I've only used OPKs for a couple of cycles and tend to rely more on CM.

Lunch was lovely - couple of my closest friends up here. Started crying at lunch because one of them said I looked tired - must have a few hormones running around! Did some light FS approved exercise this afternoon and then jumped in the pool with DS.

Hiya boy4me,

Any EWCM should be considered your 'fertile' phase so keep BDing. Bld streaks could be vigorous BDing where the cervix is slightly traumatised or it could be ovulation bleeding. Was your cervix high and soft during those days you noticed the EW? Without temping to confirm O with a sustained thermal shift of at least 3 days it would be wise to continue on until your CM changes to a dry/sticky state (or even creamy). Do you get O pains normally? What is your cycle length and how many days is your Luteal Phase normally? hehe sorry for all the questions....

Here is a useful site that explains the OPKs. Unfortunately people can miss the LH surge, it may not 'read' on the OPKs etc.

www.fertilityfriend.com/Faqs/Ovulation-Prediction-Kits--OPKs--.html (http://www.fertilityfriend.com/Faqs/Ovulation-Prediction-Kits--OPKs--.html)

Good luck...and hope your rollercoaster ride is short and sweet....on a funny note my sister calls it eggwash instead of eggwhite - too cute!!! She says, 'oh I noticed that eggwash stuff in the shower this morn that you talk about' it cracks me up no end....we need a book ladies.

Hi Keziah

I did another test and the test was as dark as it was this morning and last night so i hope that i havent ovulated yet! I have O pains today actually.. they are quite sore! I usually have a 33 day cycle and a 14 day lutual phase so i think im due to ovulate on Day 19. If i ovulated on saturday ( the only day i didnt use an OPK test) i think i should be safe as DF and I bd'd on thursday night. I am going to test twice a day with OPK's now so i dont miss my surge, DF and I are going to Bd every day as well. Cervix has always been low, quite firm and only open a little bit. Not sure what the brown discharge was... its all gone now.

Ill update you all when i have ovulated, if i havent already :goodvibes:

Thanks

Hi ladies
just wanted to pop in to say hi and introduce myself as i think i will be having a lot of questions soon, (as we have just booked our first appointment with the FS:yelclap:) and this would seem like a good place as any to get advice... My DF and i have been TTC for almost 3 yrs, we have seen FS in past then fell preg naturally = 1 MC in '07 and since then have just been trying naturally. I have had 3 mc b4 that with a previous relationship. I have a wonderful (most of the time) ADHD 10 yr old son already so TTC #2 atm and hopefully #3 and #4 later down the track but just gotta focus on #2. DF has 11% morphology and i am currently being INVESTIGATED :( for PCOS, and early onset of menopause. Well thanks for letting me ramble on and hope to chat to u all soon Kara

AFM - temp dropped a degree this morning. AF is here in full nasty force. Feel horrible. Either two types of tests were both dodgey or a chemical pregnancy. Doens't really matter either way. I'd still take this over a late miscarriage.

Hi ladies first of thank you for making me feel welcome, secondly i'm still learning where everyone is at and names so i'll just say i hope everyone is feeling ok!!

AFM- DF and i just went out to tea to celebrate our 3 yr engagement anniversary and won some $$ on keno, not often that we go out, so that was a bit of a bonus to the night
So now i'm going to start asking (hopefully not silly) questions, i'm on CD 11 and have been using OPK's since CD 9 had EWCM yesterday and day b4 (CD 9 & 10) OPK's are - (i think) ( the test line is very faint no where near as dark as control line???) and i seem to have EWCM straight after AF and again around CD 17?? so i guess the Q is how reliable are OPK's??? also i know you are ment to start temping at the start of ur cycle but does it matter if i start now as i wanna be able to go to FS with as much info as i can about my cycles?? also is there any websites that anyone may be able to point me towards for instructions on checking ur cervix??
Thanks Kara

Mumofjay - Happy anniversary :valentine:, glad you had a nice night out. Re the temping, its never too late to start, but you might find it hard to get an indication of ovulation via temps, just depends on when you O. If its not for another 3 days then definately start! Basically your FS will want to see a clear indication of ovulation with low temps, a dip, followed by 3 high temps to recognise when you ovulated. Goodluck!

Kaz - Hope that HPT line is getting darker and darker :) Cheeky one for your msn comment

Alana - Yay for temp rise and spot dissapearing

Morning all

LnW - glad you are out of hospital. Rest up and get that body all ready for the big transfer.

Crafty - snap for the nasty AF - couldn't contemplate gym yesterday, might make it today for some light exercise. But it'll all be OK when we get our sticky BFPs together in 4 weeks .

Kaz - hope things are going well in your belly.

Alana - sorry to hear about mr spot arriving.

Jilly - hi there

Kara - happy anniversary! I have only been temping for a couple of cycles, but I'm sure temping from wherever you are would be a good thing - if nothing else to get used to remembering to take it. If you haven't ovulated yet - even better.

Ternaya - hope the endo appointment goes well this morning. I can get mild O pains later in my cycle too. Have you picked a testing date yet?

Keziah - I agree with you - I believe everyone in this thread will get their miracles - we are all just being taught patience.

Meg - hope you are doing OK.

AFM - going OK. DH has been away but he got back yesterday night which was great. Made a great south indian prawn curry (both my boys are curry fans). DH is off again today down to Brissie so he has a big list of OPKs and HPTs to bring back. Am planning a girly weekend on the couch watching DVDs. Not sure if I'll have a glass of wine in hand or not yet. Our big craft markets are on too so I'll be going shopping at those too.

Hope everyone is having a lovely day.

Hi Ladies!!!

Hope everyone is going well!

Kaz - Hope the test line is getting darker and darker for you
Crafty - Sorry its not your month! June will be i swear... we are all going to be having Feb / March babies!
Ringneck - Hope Mr spot goes away
MrsMoo - Yay for a girlie weekend, i love just talking girlie stuff without getting frowns from my DF - men really are from mars arent they!

AFM - I got my first positive OPK today.. Well so i think it is because all these tests have the half positives line ( where only half is dark the other half is light... grr im never getting this brand again) The darker line is as dark at the control line so im going on that ill ovulate tomorrow ( which is dead on what i though) i just felt my cervix and it is really high and gone alot softer.. my CM isnt EWCM though... but if i ovulate tomorrow maybe it will be different tomorrow.. it is watery though because my undies feel wet all the time "sorry tmi"! Im going to test twice daily until the line gets lighter. DF is not home from work yet so we cant BD until tonight! so hopefully we catch those eggies

Can you get pregnant without having EWCM?

Good luck ladies!

Talk soon

Hi girls...

Von - A girlie weekend sounds good... Bet you will miss DH while he is gone though... I'll test on the 14th or 15th of June if AF doesn't arrive (due on the 8th) wanna make sure I'm well and truly late before I test... Cos I'm trying to stress less and it upsets DH if I test when not "absolutely necessary"...

Jill - :D glad to hear it... Perhaps we'll get a duo BFP like Lisa and Von will next month...

Ringneck - Damn Mr Spot!!! Hope he buggers off...

Lisa - :hugs: hope AF settles down soon... Yep DH came to my appointment... Not that it did much good... (see below)

MumofJay - Happy Anniversary to you!!! DH and I have been married 6 months tomorrow :smiliedance:

nic - Thanks... Has AF packed up and left yet...

Hi to everyone I've missed...

AFM - Well I had my endo appointment today...

Progesterone - Normal
Aldosterone - Normal
Estrogen - Normal
Testosterone - Normal
Cortisol - Deficient... But apparently the test or something doesn't really pick that up... That is why I am on medication...

I am definitely O'ing on my own... I am perfect apparently (well on paper at least)... IN FACT she's cut me back to half my dose of dexamenthosone so hopefully I'll be able to loose some weight now (almost impossible with cortico stearoids)... So if there is a problem its with him...

WARNING: About to get very ranty...

DH of course came in with me to see the specialist and was told flat out that it will most likely come down to him being tested... She asked if he'd like her to write him a referral for tests, to which he refused outright  almost making me burst in to tears in the middle of the drs office (I held it back)... I thought surely if he was told by a professional he'd actually do it... But no, of course not... He keeps assuring me that he wants this to happen but its hard to believe when he's almost preventing us from moving forward... Wish he would see my point of view in wanting to do everything possible to make it happen...

So after this the endo asked if I was stressed about it... Well of course I am!!! Told her I was studying and stuff and she said maybe we should make a decision that we don't want a baby til study is finished and I'd fall pregnant next month  I wish it was that easy... But I am totally NOT prepared to say I don't want to have a baby until I have finished studying... I asked her about using OPK's and she said they won't work and its better for me to temp and chart CM... I go back to her in a year... A long time... If I am not UTD by then (or sooner) then DH will absolutely have to be tested... So I am going to try and relax and go with the flow for as long as I can... I will just monitor CM and what my body tells me... Its soooo hard to try not to care about this though...

Basically I'm stuck where I am for now

hi everyone,
ssm- i know its hard with the boys, we have mutifactoral infertility, we had been ttc for a while and my obgyn just wrote out a path slip and said at this stage i always get the boy tested, and lowen behold... it actually made it much easier for me to deal with the whole thing, cause it wasnt all my fault then. but it was DEVESTATING for my dh. kind of like a direct attack at his masculinity i guess. but in time he has come to accept that its not something he can help, or dramatically change, its just the way it is. so i guess what im saying is, it was super hard for my dh to do that test and get that result... but in the end it has made it a bit easier on us both... just knowing i guess.
but awesome news for um from endo, thats great!

boy4me, good luck, bd away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am of no assistance to any of u girls asking about opk's and o'ing, as i never have never o'd withoutr ivf... heheheh

afm,,, out of hospital, yay! feeling much better, still tired and sore and a little bloated, but overall good! af has arrived, another good thing! so i start the pill now, never had that b4 to build up uterus lining and in about 6weeks we will go for a fet!
but i am happy i get a break and can just relax, drink coffee, wine etc for a while, its going to b nice!

Hey there,

I don't mean to speak out of place here but here goes....

You are a strong lady Ternaya, I'm sorry but I would have zero tolerance if my hubby refused to come on board with tests etc. TTC is a shared journey and yes, altho we as women do most of the work, temping, cm checks, invasive tests etc there are still a number of things our dear partner's/hubby's etc can do which are fairly easy and routine. Which begs the Q (and you don't have to give me the answer but it might be a question for you to ask yourself). Why is he so resistant? If you have been trying for 18mths and he is so adamant NOT to be tested he may (not even consciously) have reservations and fears which could perhaps be easily sorted out if you can get them out on the table and talk together.

Unfortunately men are cave creatures and they run straight into their caves if it's in the too hard basket. I am only saying that from experience. But if he is in the so called 'cave' about this and you are doing all the hard work, it may just build up resentment on your part and this will be the last thing you will want to deal with on your already emotional rollercoaster (one that we are all riding in our own way both emotionally and physically - ze boys included).

I hope you can both move past this and I hope this journey will indeed bring you both closer but I really would try and just gently draw out the 'real' reasons and perhaps suggest that by you knowing his sperm are all AOK with a simple sperm count and a routine bld test it will help put your mind at rest so you can relax knowing that everything is working as it should be on both sides. It could be this simple you will look back and laugh together.

Sending good vibes.:goodvibes:

Yes I forgot to write that too Ternaya, the boys can get so paranoid if they think it's going to show up that their (other boys) are not up to scratch and that they are indeed the 'sub-fertile' ones, particularly if you come out in the clear, so yes, great point LnW and CONGRATS for getting thru the hospital ordeal btw. Can't wait to hear the next chapter when they implant the embies!!! It's very exciting so enjoy your 'freedom' now hehe and have a nice pot of coffee (I can smell it now, have been off it myself for about a mth now!! Groans....)

Ternaya - so sorry DF isn't ready for testing. It took a long time and lots of wasted jars and referrals before my DH finally did one. Some sperm issues can be improved by diet and supplements - do you think DF would take them? I used to focus on the other benefits of the supplements - less illness and better training recovery for my DH as that motivated him more. Big Big :hugs:.

LnW - good to hear that you are feeling better. Enjoy the 6 weeks of indulgence.

Tiarna - good luck making yourself a birthday present - definitely a different sort of party.

Nic - we are only a day apart cycle wise, as is Lisa - time for a BFP trio!

DH flew out again this afternoon. I miss him already. We went out for lunch before he left - had a big feed of sushi and sashimi - delicious - hopefully I won't be able to have any more in a month.

:hugs: thanks to all you beautiful girlies...

I think DH does think he has a problem (he has dropped the hint a few times) but doesn't want to get it confirmed... He just gets very P'd off when I try and talk to him about it even when he seems to be in an ok mood... I'm going to leave it for a little while and not talk about ttc to much... hoping that he calms down... When I feel I can broach the subject I will say it will put my mind at ease and everything like that cos its true... Everything else in our relationship we are able to talk about but this is something he just clams up about...

kez - glad to hear you are gearing up for O... :fingerscrossed: for a BFP for you!!! Thanks heaps for the words of advice too... I will try the subtle route to see if anything comes of it...

LnW - So glad to hear you are feeling alot better... Hope that when you do go for FET its a sticky sticky one for you!!! Thanks you also... dh I guess is pretty scared and aprehensive about it...

von - In reguards to the supplements  he wouldn't take them... He doesn't like pills and "manufactured" stuff... Half the time he won't even take perscribed meds... Its beyond me... Thank you though... Very glad that you are sounding chirpier...

Looks like our cycles are sort of the same and we are ovulating around the same day! yay testing buddies!!! Ternaya ( sweetserinitymoon) and Jillybean and I have the same cycles so we are all around the same testing date! I would be so glad to go to the Feb due date thread with all of you.. would make it so much better!

AFM - Not sure when i O'd.. i thought i got a positive OPK and when i felt my cervix this afternoon it was high and quite soft but when i just felt it its firm and medium??? im confused majorly??????? can anyone shed light on this?

im feeling ultra positive this month as the previous months i didnt know when i O'd and by looking back at the times we BD'd i would of missed it completely... so if i havent O'd :fingerscrossed: im going to catch my eggie and get my :bfp:.. just got to get DF in the mood... i would never of thought id have to get him in the mood

Only two more weeks and i can test... geez its going to be a long tww! Im going to go nuts.. i have 10 internet HPT's so i can see myself giving in and starting to test from DPO10! why i do it to myself i dont know.. i should really just wait until AF is due... but i cant help it im a POASaholic!

:wizard::babydust2: to everyone

So positive its going to happen this month! woo hoo!

We're going for a quadruple (or we could say double duo) :bfp: in June!!! WOO!!! Anyone else want to get on board???

:detective: no idea what's going on with your CM and things... I hope you are O'ing or about to...

AFM - DH and I have been married for exactly 6 months today... So I'm going to forget the unpleasantness from yesterday and we're going to celebrate... I'm kicking him out of the house all day, :cloud9: all on its own  (joking) and I'm cooking a 3 course meal  BBQ honey chicken drumsticks for starters, roast lamb for main and pavlova for dessert... Of course this will all be done with candles and soft music...

I am now 6DPO... I think that puts me on CD18... So AF is due in about 10 days... I will be testing when AF is 5 or 6 days overdue... On the 13th or 14th of June... so :fingerscrossed: she doesn't show up... No signs or symptoms to report or analyse as yet...

Hey Gals!

So muc to catch up on! I have one day away from the hub and I feel like I've missed all sorts of things:laughing:

Lisa - Sorry AF is being such a pain in the backside! Hopefully this will be the last time for a long time!

Kaz - Hows things going with you?

Ternaya - Have a great 6month anniversary dinner - sounds great! DP and I have our 8 year anniversary coming up in about 2 weeks, so am thinking we might do something special.
I cant imagine how stressed and upset you must of been when DP refused testing. I was worried that mine would do the same (as he despises needles and doctors and stuff) but I think seeing everything I have gone through (miscarriages, tests, scans etc) he felt he couldnt say no!

AFM - Am on CD 4 and it looks like AF has finished already:smiliedance: so we can get back into business! Am really hoping for a much shorter cycle this time, but have planned to test on about 13th July so that I dont have any false hope!! Am keeping everything crossed that this cycle will be the one - I would love to be a mumma before my next birthday!

 to Kez, Von, LnW, Jillybean, Tiarna, Alana, Meg and anyone else I might have missed (sorry!) hope you are all doing well!

Hey Girlies!

Hope everyone is doing great!!!!

Kaz - Yay for blood tests, let us know the result! Fingers crossed everything is great! Good to hear your going to have a scan soon.

Ternaya - Happy 6 months anniversary - hope you have a great night

LnW - Great to see im not the only POASaholic... luckily these are only ovulation tests and im not wasting my precious HPTs... although i did do a HPT last night for a laugh and of course its negative... I really have a problem :)

Nic - Great to see AF is on her way out! Yay for time to get busy.. lets hope she never returns again - well not for another 9 months anyways!

AFM - Cycle day 19! The day i should be Oing or be pretty close to it. DF and I bd'd last night so hopefully spermies are up there waiting for the Eggie. Im going to do another OPK test in about half an hour. Ill let you know how that goes.

Is it better to BD everyday or every second day as i have heard mixed stories????

Lets hope i O today as there is going to be spermies waiting hehe. I am really positive this month and it would be a great 21st birthday present to welcome my first child into the world.

Hi to everyone else that i have missed!

Hi Ladies, its been super chatty in here! I'll try and keep up, sorry if I miss anything!
Alana – Sorry to hear about the spotting, just when will he get the point?
Jillybean – Thanks, hope you are doing well.
Von – Hope AF is easing up for you. I cant believe how heavy mine is this month… thinking it might still be sorting itself out after the mc. And I agree, bring on the duo bfp! Your curry sounds very yummy. Have fun at the craft market!
Boy4me – Goodluck with catching the egg this cycle. I think you can still fall PG without ewcm, it just cant be creamy and hostile…. Preseed does wonders in that respect.
Ternaya – Happy 6th Month anniversary! Boys hey…. I know my DH was sceptical in the beginning about all the tests, and I’ve mentioned all this to you before. I just let him take his own little journey, just giving him the facts along the way and he soon came forward and did all the relevant tests in his own time. He will get there, just try not to push the point too much or get too upset about it all.
LnW – Good to hear you are back home and feeling a bit better. Live life for the next 6 weeks hun as then you will be UTD!
Kez – Goodluck with ovulation!
Nic – Yay for AF finishing. This is the cycle honey….
Kaz – Congrats on the latest addition to the family.
Debi - How you doing in the 2ww? Having fun charting yet :D
AFM - CD3 and AF in full steam , hopefully shes making a good clean out for a new home for the new button when I ovulate! I always feel better about things a couple of days after shes been here. Just those initial 48 hours suck. Well off to make some cards and get crafty!

Tiarna - I am also on the positive band wagon this month and i am on team BD every second day.
Nic - yay for AF leaving so quickly

DH has gone to his mothers for the afternoon and will be home at about 5:30ish so that gives me plenty of time to spruce myself... and the table etc up

Kaz - Great results... It will only get better from here on in... How are you feeling???

Jill - Yoga sounds good to me!!! We are going to get the double duo BFP and send the rollercoaster out of business soon!!!

Afternoon lovelies

Kaz - :yelclap: great results. I totally understand the lack of excitement thing, although it is so hard not to get your hopes up.

Crafty - AF isn't treating me the best either - like you say - I'm hoping for a big spring clean ready for the new bubba - although the D&C was supposed to be like a grease and oil change. Am I going to be able to stalk your chart any more?

Ternaya - wow - what a feast. Definitely sounds yummy at your place.

Keziah - sorry - no puerto rican recipes here. That is one exotic theme. I'm trying to work out a tapas afternoon evening at the moment. Our dining table is only a 6 seater so hard to do anything formal here - we often end up having bbqs. Thinking about getting a bigger setting for the deck.

Nic - good to hear AF has finished. Although you aren't planning on testing for 6 weeks, hopefully you O in two weeks time and you, me and Lisa can all be due at the same time.
Jilly - hope the relaxation works - either way it is great for you.

LnW - is your friend living in Port Moresby? I have a fantastic lifestyle although there are some big limitations - can't get a pregnancy blood test done for starters!

Tiarna - good luck catching the egg.

Alana - hope mr spot has left the building.

Hello to everyone else.

Well I've had a good day. Didn't sleep well last night so back to bed as soon as the nanny arrived. Then took DS to a play ground and caught up with a friend and her daughter there. Then swam 1km at lunch. Then took DH swimming (or the nanny did) while I went to the gym and ran 5km. Super proud of myself - now just need to not overindulge tonight.

Not sure how I feel about my friend the tiki at the moment. DS has found a use for one of the necklaces - he tows it around trailing from the back of his bike.

Hope you all have wonderful weekends:goodvibes:

Kaz - Lovely results , look forward to catching up tommorrow.

Von - Sorry, I cracked it the other day with the whole TTC thing and took it off, but I'll ad it back in now I am feeling better about it all again :o. Sounds like you had a lovely day, and a stella effort on the exercise! LOL about the tiki, hopefully it will bring DS some goodluck!

Ternaya - Pavs are good, you can cover up mistakes , have a lovely romantic night hun :valentine:.

AFM - Looking fwd to a bottle of red tonight, and a quiet one knitting infront of the tv I think.... DH has been working superhard this week so some time out will be nice for him.

Hello Again!

Mrsmoo - Glad to hear you had a good day and great to hear you got some more sleep after a bad night.

Crafty - Yay for the wine.. i love just sitting on the couch doing nothing and just relaxed. Destressing must be good for TTC

AFM - Did another OPK this afternoon and its the same as it has been for the last few days so i have no idea whats going on. Maybe false positives? pretty sure its as dark as the control line but no EWCM and cervix is higher but quite firm. I will definately be temping next month if i dont get my BFP as i do not know what is going on. I might have already ovulated but i didnt think i would until today or tomorrow. Ill keep doing the OPKs and checking my CM and CP but if they dont change either i have already ovulated or im not going to ovulate this cycle. Im soooo confused :(

DF and I are going to keep BDing anyway.. and just see what the next two weeks brings us! Hopefully a BFP! Im feeling very bloated today and gassy so not sure.

Goodluck ladies... no doubt ill speak to you over the weekend! If not everyone have a great weekend, in WA we have a long weekend this weekend but i always have Mondays off so its not really a long weekend for me! hehe

Hi hi honeys!!!

Tiarna - That is very confusing! Hope you have already O'd and caught the eggie or you are O'ing now and ready to catch it!

Lisa - yeah I piled the cream and raspberries on top so it wasn't noticible  was yum! Your night sounds relaxing... Hope AF is treating you nicer...

Von - Go the sporto!!! Sounds like you have had a productive day... Hope you're sleeping better soon...

AFM - Have had a wonderful romantic evening... Candles and all... Meal was beautiful (I was a little worried it wouldn't be, DH is usually the chef when roasts and fancier things are concerned) and then some really good quality BD'ing just for the sake of it... DH is now cleaning up the kitchen for me then I'm going to score a massage :cloud9: might even get lucky again later ;) but if not that's ok I'll get nice cuddles :bee:

No matter how stubborn DH is about things I still love him more and more every day... :valentine: he just frustrated me to no end sometimes!!! :hair:

Back Again

Ternaya - Good to hear you had a great dinner and DH is treating you very well! Twice in one night - go you!

AFM - Feeling very down atm, all that positivity has gone and im just about ready to give up. I dont know whats going on this cycle and its doing my head in not knowing. Cervix is lower and firmer so i dont think im Oing. Im going to keep doing OPKs anyways... really dont think this is going to be my month now :( I thought i could stay positive but after 14 months i think its finally getting to me. Ill stick to my original promise that if im not pregnant by end of next cycle ill go to the doctors with DF and start getting tested.

Im really angry at these OPKs that they are only half positives - why cant the test line be all one colour so i can easily decipher if its a positive or negative. No EWCM so def wont be Oing.... Only EWCM i have had was on Monday night and then tuesday it was pretty much gone... didnt get a positive OPK though and tuesday night was the darkest OPK i had but i still dont know if it was positive or not.

Goodluck ladies!

Hi ladies can't sleep 2nite think i m over tired

Tiarna - my OPKs are doing the same thing what brand are you using?? mine are First response which i thought were the better ones??

but i wouldn't know as i haven't talked to anyone about this as everyone else i know seems to fall if they even think about it.....

ggrrr sorry just having a bit of a rant i recieved a call the other nite from my BIL (not sure if i used the right abbriviations the Brother inlaw??) they are expecting #2 with #1 turning 1 in 2 weeks, which is awesome:yelclap: for them don't get me wrong but it's just hard to have seen BIL turn from an annoying 18yr old:hair: (with many GF's) to a father of 1 with 1 on the way in the last 5yrs and us to still be trying 3yrs later. And also DF work mate's GF is having yet another abortion (thats 3 in the last 12 months), and the countless other ppl i know that are falling like leaves off a tree in autumn...

Sorry needed to vent... Anyways i think i had an +ve OPK yesterday and today so had a bit of BDing earlier on, i've ordered some OPKs from lullaby conceptions has anyone else here used them are they any good??? i also ordered a BBT thermometer, i should get them on monday.
i haven't started temping yet i think i'm going to have big trouble remembering:rolleyes: which is why i should start now so that hopefully by next cycle i would have a routine.. and have at least one full cycle to take to FS in july which i'm so looking forward to and i think DF is too!! He is already talking about being retested (DF has morphology 1st test was 13% normal 2nd was 11% normal) he is hoping that not working with chemicals anymore has helped it rise and he is taking menevit so hopefully the FS will give him some good news, having his little brother and most of his mates having babies b4 us while we have been trying the whole time has been hard on him, and our parents don't help considering everytime we ring them they ask if we are expecting yet!!:hissy: so frustrating!!! okay i think i've whinged and complained enough for one night so i'll go to bed and try to sleep thanks for this thread as i know u girls will understand how i;m feeling (well i hope u do and i hope i'm not driving you all mad

HI ladies...

ringneck - grr mr spot!! Bugger off already!!!

Kara - :hugs: it is so so so frustrating sometimes when you hear about other people moving on ahead of you (or having abortions and stuff) when you have been trying so hard... We're here for you honey... We all lean on each other... Cheer up!

Tiarna - :hugs: hope you are feeling better about things... Its so annoying have confusion surrounding everything... I hope you are UTD in the next cycle so that you don't have to go and start testing...

AFM - Am feeling pretty :D last night was great... Was really good to focus on just us for the night :cloud9: I'm feeling positive now, a huge step up from what I was feeling coming home from Launceston after my appt and everything that happened there... Talked to my mummy this morning which always helps... I miss my mummy (she lives in Melbourne, i live in Tassie):( I am 7DPO now... Nothing really out of the ordinary to report symptom wise (except perhaps a slight tugging feeling in my right side) still about 12 days left until I test if AF hasn't shown up... This tww is taking an eternity... Usually it goes pretty fast...

I'm heading for a throat infection/flu thing... My throat is killing me (has been for a couple of days) so I'm just waiting for the rest of the yuckyness to start... My nose is already a little on the blocked side... Oh joy! I always get sick when I'm on holidays

Well...this is the third time I have written this post (stupid internet!) so may be a bit brief:laughing:

Tiarna & Kara :hugs: to you both...this whole shenanigans is definitely stressful!

Von - Impressed with your exercise regime - wish I could be so disciplined!

Lisa - Hope you had a great night chillaxing with your wine and knitting!

Ternaya - glad that your romantic evening went well!

AFM - After it looking as though AF had left the building...its back again! Not too bad though, havent had any pains this cycle, so happy with that!

I asked DP last night "so are we just going to get back into it and not worry about waiting the 3 months' (thinking he would say yes, as we had not been particularly careful last cycle) and he said NO! We argued about it for a little while...I can see his point - he doesnt want either of us to go through another m/c, but I am sick of waiting...feel like I've been waiting long enough already!

Anyway... have spent the day cleaning the house and off to mum and dads for dinner tonight... take care all:)

Hi Ladies

Well im better today... got over my little rant and back on the TTC wagon!

Nic - Hope Mr spot / AF leaves you soon!
Mumofjay- I am using the internet cheapies off ebay - im really not liking these OPKs

AFM - CD20 and still not sure if i have Od yet. Last month im sure i didnt O until cycle day 22 or 23 so i still might be in with a chance. I went out and bought some Vitex, Womans Multi Vitamins and some Grapefruit Juice so if its not my month this month i can give it 100% next month. Im also going to temp next month so i can pinpoint O.

DF and I bd'd today so if i ovulate tomorrow ill have a good chance of having spermies in there. My CM has turned watery ( maybe just bcoz of after BDing) and i have had 2 glasses of GFJ already so maybe thats helping

Im going to do an OPK in about 10 minutes so ill let you know how that goes. I did one about 2pm but didnt have much urine and the line was pretty dark still  dont think as dark as control line but

How is everyone :) Hello to everyone i missed

Hope you are all having a great weekend and i just wanted to thank you wonderful ladies for your support!

nic - You'll be back in it before you know it... I don't know from experience but it is probably better to wait and make sure everything is good, I know you don't want to hear that though... :hugs:

Tiarna - Glad you are feeling a bit better after your rant... :fingerscrossed: you get your BFP honey!!!

AFM - Not much to report... Trying to fix this new network connection so that DH's computer can use the internet off mine... Frustrating :geek:

Had some stretchy pains in my lower back tonight that I have never experienced before ever... It was my cousins 11th birthday  he's grown up so fast... Reckon he's about as tall as me now... I remember when he was born, so tiny (8 weeks premmie) So we went over to aunty and cousins for cake... Was yummy caramel mud cake with white choccy genash icing...

Hoping to get lucky tonight just cos its fun... pretty doubtful my wish will come true though... its already past 11... Perhaps in the morning :fingerscrossed:... I have been freezing all day even when other people say they are hot... Very strange... I think my cold is really setting in now... Also getting dizzy spells... :banghead: I don't want to get sick!

Girls,
This is my first posting on bubhub and already reading your postings on the rollercoaster (with lots of time spent going down!) that is TTC for over 12 months I am feeling slightly less blue having spent the last month feeling pretty :gloomy:

May for me was not only the month that we were officially TTC for 12 months without a skerrick of success, it was the month that the last of my married girlfriends got pregnant leaving me the only one not in the mummy club. DH semisupportive but won't really talk about it, mother says it's our own fault, shame on us for not having been trying earlier me 33 DH 35).

Needing some normality, some positivity and some support!

Have furnished DH with a kit for testing 'the boys' and have thought about some acupuncture - do people have ideas on whether this is useful?

Really good to know there are others in this TTC boat...

Hoping for good news for all of us soon...

Muffy :)

Hi Ladies , may i join in, DH and i have been TTC for a long time and we have recently found out that i have a hormone inbalance and DH has a very very low sperm count. Has anyone else had this issue with their DH. We are both going through a very emotional time right now. We have been referred onto a specialist and hopefully can get a little bambino in the oven in no time.

wantsabellababy - Hi there... Welcome... :fingerscrossed: everything with you and DH is treatable and you have a beautiful bubba soon...

Muffy - That's the nickname that my mum (still) uses for me... Welcome to you also... The lovely women in here are very helpful and supportive... You have come to the right place... Hope your stay here is short... Not that we don't want you here... Everyone wants their stays here to be short...

Its good to see some new faces... though it sucks we're all here in the first place... :hugs:'s to you honeys...

ringneck - I hope the doctor can help with figuring your LP out... :hugs:'s darling...

Tiarna - I hope you've O'd and those silly tests are just defective... :fingerscrossed: we're still in for our double duo BFP soon!!!

AFM - Still feeling crampy/tugging and crappy! My nose is dripping like a tap... If only colds came without the nose running bit then it would be semi-barable... DH is looking after me though... Getting lots of hot drinks and cuddles... He even sent me to bed for a couple of hours earlier... Didn't really help but at least the thought was there...

I'm glad I've already O'd because I couldn't think of anything worse than BDing at the moment  was told by someone in the Tassie threads that she had a cold every time just before she found out she was UTD... Hope it works for me too

Evening Ladies,

Debi - I am so glad to hear that you and DH have talked it through more and have an action plan your comfortable with. I so hope you will be UTD before that time and that IVF wont be needed. No worries about the help with charting, as much as its a chore taking it, its really interesting to get intune with your body and understand it better. I hope this is your month honey. Goodluck with the exams.

Ternaya - I hope you feel better soon, nothing worse than a headcold :hugs:.

Wantabellababy & Muffy - Sorry to hear you have had to join this thread. But everyone in here is so so supportive, all with our own issues, some of us ttc#2, others yet to experience their own little ones. I hope your stay is short and sweet and that you get your bfp very soon.

Alana - Unfortunately didnt get a nana nap in... maybe tomm when DH isnt home :) Sorry to hear your body is giving you some grief. I hope your specialist can shed some light and help with the spotting in your 2ww :hugs:.

Boy4me - Goodluck with the GFJ! Could think of nothing worse lol... I'll stick to my EPO tablets :)

Kaz - Hope that bubba is treating you well.

Kez - hope your having a fab weekend.

Uaually I don't because I know it will be a :bfn: but I have such a strong positive feeling this month... and that feeling is giving rise to hopes being elevated... but the only "sign" at 8DPO is slight cramping (only thing I can't attribute to the cold I have) and this overwhelming feeling...

Goodluck with your exams... What are you studying??? Hope you don't have to go down the IVF path honey and you get a wonderful natural :bfp: glad to hear that ttc has pulled you and your DH closer... :flowerz:

Evening all

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Debi - hope you pinking finger is all limbered up ready to go - we're all going to do our best to keep you busy. Great that you and DH are getting closer and have a plan in place to get your second child.

Lisa - welcome back chart :). I know how you feel though - really don't know what I want to do or where I'm heading at the moment. I'm so over the TTC thing.

Newbies - welcome to the thread. Hope your stay is nice and short and a sticky BFP is just around the corner. I have been TTC with intent for over a year now but in reality have done nothing to stop conception since DS was born 2 and a half years ago.

Ternaya - hope you get better soon.
Tiarna - hope the big O happens soon. Might as well keep practising until it does :fingerscrossed:.

Alana - looked at your chart earlier today - temps look great - just a pain about all the spotting. Hope you can get in to see the doctor sooner rather than later.

AFM - have all sort of herbs etc to take this cycle but can't be bothered - so over the whole thing at the moment. Two lines on a stick is nice but the odds of that turning into a baby is so low.

DH has been away for the weekend and DS and I have done OK. Had a friend round on Friday night - didn't watch any DVDs but had a great night with a few wines and a chat. Went to the craft markets and spent too many kina but did lots to support the local economy. Had a few drinks with friends this afternoon which was lovely and relaxed.

DH is back tomorrow - Yay!

Just so lovely to have some words of comfort from you all - I think when TTC we need both privacy from outsiders and intrusive inquiries, and support from those in the know. I think this group will be great in the support department!
Thank you so much.:bee:

My friend who is a clin psych told me there are 3 elements to successfully getting UTD - overcoming any physical problems ( leave that to the Drs), pure chance ( can't control that one) and minimising anxiety and stress - the only bit we have control of. She said to try and think of the TTC time as preparing your body to be ready for a pregnancy. Personally I found that quite useful - trying actively to destress and stay positive knowing that staying calm and not getting upset is part of the road to success....

fortunately the psych also acknowledged that despite all the positive thinking in the world TTC IS REALLY HARD!

I see lots of references to girls who look like they are on various stages of their journey... wishing you speedy recoveries from colds, return of DH from travel in time for O, end to bizarre spotting and a spot free month next month, and some healthy looking charts... enjoy the :sunshine: on this long weekend :)

Morning all

Kaz - poor Mr Rooster - hope Paul says yes - or someone else falls in love with him - we'd love him up here.

Alana - chart is still looking good - hope it is a heavy implantation bleed. Either way hope you get into the doctor soon - August is way too far away.

Muffy - good luck with the destressing - not too easy when the months keep passing by on us all. I'm lucky that my life is pretty low stress, although I can always work on it. I used to love acupuncture for it but no one does it up here.

Ains - good luck for Wednesday's surgery. What are you having done?

AFM - for the first time in I don't know how long I totally forgot to temp this morning. DS and I both slept in till 8:30am - bliss! DH gets back today - the reunions with DS are always so lovely to watch.

Hi Everyone

muffy - Sorry you have to join us in here...but you have definitely come to the right place! I know exactly what you mean about needing privacy, yet needing to talk to those in the know. I get really annoyed with our family asking how TTC is going, but I like being able to come in here and rant and rave!

wantabellababy - Hi to you too! Sorry to see you have been TTC for so long, it is so frustrating! Dont know too much about hormone imbalances and that so cant offer much advice...just some of these:hugs:

Ternaya - Those are sounding like some promsiing signs ...hopefully this is the month for you and a BFP is just around the corner! I too have had a cold before each BFP:yes: No every time I get a cold I think "I must be UTD!'

Airanrhod - Hope all goes well on Wednesday

Kaz - Your rooster is very cute... we have heaps at work and they are gorgeous! Hope your bubba is doing well in there...when are your next BT's?

:wave:to Von, Lisa, Debi, Shannon, Tiarna, Alana, Meg and anyone I might have missed!

AFM - Not much happening here... DP is confusing me big time. He said on the weekend about waiting, then this morning when we DTD it definitely doesnt look like we are waiting IYKWIM:o Even though I know I'm not fertile right now, he doesnt know that!! Maybe I should stop worrying about what he's thinking and just let it happen!
I cannot believe it is June already...it is officially 14months today since we started TTC and here we are, 3 m/c's and still no bubba (:hugs:to those who have been trying even longer...I dont know how you are still sane!)

 everyone...

Von - Yay for DH being back today... Your weekend without him sounded pretty good... Awww about the reunions with your DS... and also yay for the great sleep in you had... Hope all is well in paradise :D

ringneck - Hope when you do get to see the doctor he can help you out... So frustrating at times hey... Glad to hear that Mr Spot has buggered off though... Hope that your DH's dream comes true!!!

Kaz - Cute rooster... Hope he gets to stay or someone else falls in love with him... Glad your visit with your cousin went well... I want to cuddle a bubba... Have to wait at least 2 months though (that's when my step-mum is due)... Happy to hear your bubs isn't giving you a very hard time except for the tiredness...

Ains - I've followed your story since I first joined... I hope that your op on Wednesday goes really well and you get a natural :bfp:very soon after... Try not to stress to much (easier said than done I know)... Take it easy honey...
Muffy - :iagree: TTC is really hard... Trying not to let it consume my life is almost as hard... Hope we both have success soon...

AFM - Only 9DPO... I haven't even hit double figures yet  tww is torture!!! At least this one is anyways... My cold is still hanging around... But I don't feel as crappy as yesterday just yet... Still got the crampy/tugging feeling going on in my right side ...

Sorry to hear the 14 month anniversary has come for you... We've been trying 18+ months but haven't ever had to go through a m/c so I think its harder on those of you that have :hugs:for you sweetheart... You will get a sticky bubba soon :babydust2: relax and take it easy (easier said than done I know)...

Afternoon Ladies,

Hope you are all having a good start to the week.

Alana - Fingers crossed you can get an appt tommorrow :fingerscrossed:.

Ternaya - That tugging feeling sounds hopeful. Goodluck!

Nic - I say most definately, just go with the flow and dont ask too many Q's!

Kaz - Sounds like you got a good nights rest, bring on the 2nd trimester when you will be glowing :goodvibes: and feeling better.

Von - Enjoy having the hubby back.

Ains - Goodluck for your surgery.

AFM - I just dont feel a chirpy camper today... lack of sleep over the past 3 nights hasnt helped. Took DD to the docs again today for a checkup and it would seem that the antibiotics havent worked and she now has an ear infection in both ears, a full on cold and mighty out of sorts. ALso was the first time I saw my doc after the chemical/mc and it left me feeling flat. So am hibernating today. I just dont feel like this is ever going to happen and think I am about 'dis' much from throwing the towell in. If last month was a chemical or I was just late then if it hasnt happened in nearly 2 years then I just dont see how it is miraculously going to happen iykwim. Sorry for the vent.

HELLO!! Just a quickie as I'm at work... new computer will be up and running at home very soon so I can pop in more regularly. I have missed you ladies!

KAZ - HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!!! :smiliedance: I hope everything goes well for your pregnancy.

Von, sorry to read back that you had a BFP and then bloody AF arrived! :( That's not fair! Sending you a big hug! :hugs:

Lisa, I was so sure I'd come back and read that you had a BFP! I am crossing fingers and toes that June is your month hon. :fingerscrossed:

AFM, I had my first US last week. Bub is small for dates with low heartbeat (due date has been pushed later to Jan 18 instead of Jan 10). I'm trying not to worry too much... my first born was always small as well. I'm seeing my GP tomorrow to go over the results and I suspect he may send me back for another scan to see how things are going.

Other than that... I'm incredibly tired. I'm already having weird preggo dreams that are so real and vivid. I wake up and think "did that really happen?" and it take me ages to go back to sleep.

:babydust2:BABYDUST FOR EVERYONE STILL ON THE ROLLERCOASTER!

Hey Nic!
Yeah I'm hopeing 'bubbles' is doing well in there too...my next BTs are Thursday, then a scan in 2wks.
I just went and had lunch with DH at work and he very sadly said to me...."I hope this is the one...as I just don't think I could cope with a 4th (MC)"...I guess sometimes we forget that we arent the only ones who lose the bubbas...our DHs take it very hard aswell.

Lisa - :hugs::hugs::hugs:You sound like you need lots of these honey! I know what you mean though...sometimes I feel as though the notion of DP and I having a baby of our own is just so far fetched now...it kind of seems surreal and like it will never happen. But I know I just need to stay positive and believe that it will happen...its hard though.

Shannon - Hope all goes well with your next u/s... I will be keeping everything crossed for you!

You're right - With our first m/c I knew how hard DP took it, but he seemed to bounce back so well while I was a mess for a long time. With the 2nd we came home and I went into the bathroom, came back to the bedroom and he was face down on the bed sobbing... probably only the 4th time I'd seen him cry in 7.5years. Lately I have been getting some insight into just how hard this is for him too.

AFM -Am hoping that this is a nice short cycle. Have been thinking that the reason for my long cycle could be due to my chem preg in April... on 9th April I still had HCG level of 18 and that had taken 3 days to drop from 20...if it continued dropping slowly it may have taken another couple of weeks to get back to 0 (which is apparently when your cycle starts again) what do you think about this theory??

That sounds likely Nic...as the HCG has to completely disappear b4 the new cycle can start....:fingerscrossed: for a nice short cycle...

I just rang vet to book "Copper" the rooster in to be put down and one of my staff here at work heard the call and said he'd take him...he doesnt have any chickens but would be happy to give Copper a home on his 3 acres....:smiliedance:...Copper lives to tell the tale....

Hi Ladies

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Ternaya - Awww it sounds promising for you! FX you get your BFP this month... maybe we will get one together!

Kaz- Good luck with the BT!

Hello to everyone i have missed.. still havent read through all the threads as yet!

AFM - CD22 and still no sign of Oing.. CP is still low and firm... Grrrr i give up. Im not going to bother doing anymore OPKs as they are the same result everytime and ive gone thru nearly 40 in one month.... im just going to keep checking my CM and CP everyday and see how i go. Doesnt look promising... i keep having twinges in my right side ( and sometimes my left) so dont know what that could be.. Had what i thought was O pains yesterday but couldn be as CP is still low and firm. I am going to remain positive and pray that i get my BFP this month... lets hope my three brothers in heaven are hearing my prayers and grant me my wish!

Still drinking the GFJ - it has helped a bit already with CM! Will be taking Vitex next month and using preseed if no BFP this month.

Good luck ladies! Cant believe we are in June already. Only 2 weeks until AF is due for me.... but may be a long cycle this month!

Hi honeys!!!

How is everyone today???

Tiarna - :fingerscrossed: we do go the duo (or double duo) BFP in a couple of weeks...

AFM - I have had an increase in "signs" today these are:-

Tender(ish) (.)(.)'s
Feeling :barf:
CM is white and thick
I still have some slight cramping
I am tired... Even though I got lots of sleep...
I am having major mood swings and I mean MAJOR... One minute I'll be happy, then I'll be crabby (for NO REASON) and then I'll want to burst in to tears (again for NO REASON)... I've never experienced PMS this bad before... and I'm not making that up...

HOWEVER... These signs can all point to a very unwelcome AF's arrival (I'm not to sure about the CM though)... I do still have a cold but it is clearing up now :yelclap:My good feeling has pretty much disappeared and I'm sick of the whole idea of ttc at the moment :crying:... I've had a big rant in my diary so I won't repeat it here...

I am on CD22 and 10DPO... AF is due in 6 days... I still hope she doesn't show up...

Sorry about the me me me post... Hope everyone is having a good day

Morning Ladies,

Ternaya - Goodluck love, sounds promising.

Boy4me - Hmm thats why you need to temp, saves going through so many opk's! :) Hope you ovulate soon hun. Have you tried the Evening Primrose Oil tablets, they work wonders for me.

Mumofjay - Goodluck with charting, its fun, well I think so atleast!

Kaz - Yay for Copper finding a home, thats great news. Hope you feel better soon.

AFM - Have had a very crappy morning, or should I say some people around me have and my heart goes out to them. Part of the news this morning was that my DH's Nanna over in England has taken ill and will pass away very soon. So family are making a mad dash back to england. They say things run in 3's so I am hoping it doesnt happen! :fingerscrossed:

Luckily DF and I have been BDing every two days for the last week. Going to BD tonight incase im yet to ovulate and keep BDing until either i O or until i can test which is atleast 2 weeks away.

Im feeling very under the weather today, have a cold and sore back and sore everything today. Felt like i was going to be sick this morning when i got up! But didnt luckily!

mekiss - good luck for the IUI - its exciting to be taking that next step to help the process.

Mumofjay - good luck with the charting - first month I charted I got a BFP - watching your temp keep going up is great.

Mekiss - Goodluck honey

Mrsmoo - I havent had any testing as yet. I had an ultrasound 12 months ago and it was fine... said one follicle or Ovary was a little large but they said prob coz im ovulating or something... DF and I are going to the doctors tomorrow to order testing done as i want to know straight away if there is anything wrong with us. :yelclap:

AFM - CD23..... got a rash on my face all of a sudden today and not sure what its from. Its very annoying... got a very sore throat and blocked nose and flu like symptoms.. also been having twinges and a feel little pulling pains in my stomach all day so not sure what thats about... Hopefully either im already UTD ( i wish) or im about to ovulate sometime soon. Only time will tell. Im going to demand the doctor take blood tests for me because when i went a few weeks ago he wouldnt do it because he said in most cases its the guys fault not the womans. Ill just tell the doctor that i dont think im ovulating so then he will do tests. My GP is also a Gyno / Obstetrician so thats an added bonus!

Hey girls, just checkin in to see how you are all doing.

LnW - I totally understand the whole 'over it' mode. Sometimes it's like - get me off this train!! I just read your TTC diary. It brought tears to my eyes. I am so very sorry you had such a tough time. Hopefully with all these wonderful embies ready and waiting to go you will get your precious miracle/s soon.

Me....4dpo and good temp rise. Really excited about O so early and hoping this might be our lucky mth. I've got a while to go in the 2WW so juz trying to keep occupied.

Hi!
Hooray! I have a new computer and I'm back on BH! And my goodness this dream machine is absolutely gorgeous - I'm a Mac user so all those out there who love Macs will know what I mean! ;)

Von, great to hear you are in good spirits! I think the heartbeat was 103, with 100 being the bottom of the scale. Anything below 100 and they worry a lot. Saw my GP today and he was actually very optimistic and gave me a full check-up (including breast exam which was totally unexpected!) Anyhow, I'm going back for another scan next week just to make sure everything is going along okay.

Kaz, how are you going? Went back to check out the pic of your rooster... he's so handsome! But I can understand why you'd need to find him a new home!

LnW, big hugs... hope you shake those blues soon!

Lisa, hope you are feeling brighter soon and that DD is better soon too... sending the good vibes train your way! :sunshine:

Ternaya, I have my fingers crossed for you!!! Memory loss is definitely a sign of being up the duff! :fingerscrossed:

Alana, sorry to hear AF arrived :hugs:.

Mekiss, best wishes for your IUI cycle. I hope it brings you a BFP!

Kez, what's happening in your world lovely?

AFM, I'm booked for some acupuncture in a couple of weeks, and then in late June DH becomes an Aussie! Woohoo! He got his letter this week saying his application for citizenship was accepted. Now he just has to do the pledge. He wants to join the Army Reserves. Sounds crazy to me, all that running, but hey, it's his choice. I've been thinking of changing my career - in a BIG way - studying childcare... anyone work in this industry... Nic? Sorry, can't remember... would love to hear your thoughts.

Hope everyone is feeling more positive this month... I summon the little eggies within you.... PLEASE GET PREGNANT!! :wizard::babydust2:

LOL!
I'm supposed to be writing an article for work... Bubhub was calling ... such a distraction!

I'm feeling okay I suppose. Very very tired, but not nauseous which I'm very grateful for... I'm very lucky I don't get bad morning sickness. My arthritic joints on the other hand need a good talking to... yesterday it was right knee, left hip and right elbow - WHAT THE? Why can't it just be one little finger? Mum bought me some wonderful bath salts from a place in Victoria (I think) called Sassafras... southerners probably know where it is... although I might have spelt it wrong! There is apparently a lovely soap shop there. This bath salt blend is specifically for RA so I used them last night and felt amazing afterwards.

Have a great week you lovely ladies!!

Kez - I have everything crossed that this month is your month... Stay positive!

LnW - Hello sweetie :hugs: glad you're feeling a bit better... I know what you mean about being over ttc though... Chin up...

Lisa - How is everything going... Did your DH go over to England for his grandmother??? Looks like you need a big squishy hug yourself :hugs: hope everything is improving honey...

Meg - Hi how are you going??? Hope everything goes well on the weekend... I wish I could meet some other hubbers... But I'm stuck over here in Tassie lol...

Von - How is paradice (sp, I am terrible today)???

Alana - HOpe that witch isn't treating you to badly sweetheart :hugs:

Debi - You're being kept very busy in June already... Hope you can colour yourself and everyone else in here pink this month...

Ains - Goodluck with your op today honey... Our thoughts are with you... :fingerscrossed: it'll do the trick...

Kara, nic, muffy, wannabellababy, Tiarna and everyone else I have missed (sorry) how are you all?? Hope you're all thinking positive...

AFM - My "signs" seem to be increasing  I'm 11DPO, exhausted already and haven't even done much yet, b@@bs are sore and I feel a little bit sick... I still have that icky cold... I might sneak in a test soon... Not sure yet... Like I said, it could all add up to AF on her way :crying:

Afternoon Ladies,

Shannon - Glad all is well with you, Sassafrass isnt that far from me actually, probably 30 min drive if that!

Nic - My CP is always fairly high apart from when AF arrives, but at 9DPO i'd expecting it to go high if your due to O. Yay for holidays!

Ternaya - Sounding better and better, have everything crossed for you. DH didnt go to England, unfort work commitments just wont allow him atm.

Kez - Nice temp drop today ;), fingers crossed it goes up and your lil dip is an implantation dip :fingerscrossed:

LnW - Glad you are feeling better :hugs:

How is everyone?

RN - Good to hear you got into the doctors quickly!
MK - Goodluck! FX all goes well
Ternaya- How are you honey?

AFM - CD24 and not sure if i have Od or not.. not really concerned atm coz im sick and cant be bothered. Went to the doctors today who told me i have pharyngitis ( and a cold ) and a severe allergic reaction to something ( im thinking GFJ but not sure) so have taken Claratyne and hoping it cures itself. Spoke to the doctor about some testing done and he has ordered full blood works with progestone and estrogen levels etc.. I have to do it on CD21 ( not sure why???) so if im not UTD this month then ill do it next cycle. DF is also having his sperm count done so looking forward to getting all my results back within a month and a bit! will definately put my mind at ease!

Only two weeks until testing! yay! ill probably test early but i wont be expecting a BFP then! Im just a POASaholic so need to pee on something lol!

Cant wait to see how everyone in June goes!

Tiarna, HOpe you feel better soon. Fantastic news you are having all the standard tests done and that your DP is getting tested too, always a touchy subject with the blokes lol. They do it on CD21, as they need to make sure you have o'd so you can get the best results on your progesterone test.

Aww hey Kath! :hugs:, I'm off to check Facebook out and your pics. Great news about the scan and so good to hear you are feeling comfortable about the birth process. It will come around before you know it.

Kaz - How you feeling today?

AFM - Well I dont know what is going on..... CD9 today and yesterday at CD8 I was getting some ewcm, ovulation pains and I have been feeling pretty emotional the past 48 hours, so I did an OPK and it came back about 80% positive.... so this morning when I took my temp I have had a huge drop, so not sure if at CD9 I am ovulating or if it is going to happen in the next 48 hours really early, as its normally CD14 , or maybe my body is playing tricks on me and giving me a false alarm early, but when I look at my charts my temp is as low as it normally is at ovulation. Oh well... only have 2 opks left as I didnt buy any this month so will do another this arvo.... Hope you all have a nice day.

Afternoon lovelies

Have been thinking about you all but have heaps of computer problems - hope I don't forget anyone..

Lisa - sounds like you are o'ing - and you normally have a nice predictable cycle. Maybe your body is impatient to finally get this baby made. Hope you get some lucky BDing in.

Meg - thanks for the invite - I'll do my best.

Ternaya - everything is looking good - I'm heading away tomorrow and not sure when I'll get a chance to log in - hope I don't miss a BFP announcement.

Tiarna - great that you got some tests organised - and that DH is doing his too - information is power. The day 21 BT is to look at hormone levels 7 days after doctor presumed ovulation on CD14 - not always the case (I think).

Nic - DH and I always used to do the housework together on a Thursday night so it was out of the way for the weekend.

Alana - so glad your doctor is going to see you - hope he can get this bleeding sorted.

Keziah - hope you caught that egg!

Babyjoy - good to hear from you. Hope the baby is treating you well.

Kath - hi - great that all is looking good at your scan.

Kaz - hope that baby is behaving. I'm praying for good scan results.

Mekiss - how exciting that IUI is about to happen - big big :fingerscrossed: that this is it!

Sorry - I know I've forgotten some of you - trying to type as fast as I can in case i lose the connection again.

All is good up here. The city is calm today after the big State of Origin buildup - I swear it is bigger here than in QLD. Everyone has flags on their cars, paints their faces etc. Even the guard helping put my groceries in the car yesterday was asking who I went for etc.

Now just need to get packing for my trip to Sydney - I gave most of my warm clothes away when we moved up to the tropics.

Not sure when I'll get back on here, but I'll be thinking of you all.

Hi guys...

Pretty sure I won't be seeing a BFP this month :crying: my b@@bs have started hurting in that AF is coming sort of way... Nothing else though... The reason I'm not testing is because I'm scared... Scared of a :bfn: because it means disappointment and I don't do that so well... I'm really close to calling the whole ttc deal off tbh!! I'm also scared of a :bfp: because it means I'll be having a baby... and constantly worried, not only for the duration of the pregnancy but after it and of how people will take it... I know some people would be really happy for DH and I but then I also know that others will be almost angry and upset... Not that I don't want it so so so so so much! If I didn't want it I wouldn't be here on this roller coaster... pretty stupid to be scared of a BFP hey...

Nic - I hope you do have a beautifully relaxing long weekend... and that your work meeting isn't going to be to stressful...

Lisa - Hope you get some energy to BD before you go away... and I hope you have a WONDERFUL time in Sydney...

Von - Thanks darl... Pretty sure you won't miss any BFP announcement (from me anyways)... Hope your trip goes well and you find time to squeeze in a visit with Meg and Lisa!

AFM - CD25 and atleast another week and a half before i can test. This rash has gotten worse but im not going back to the doctor as yet as i have only taken claratyne for one day. Ill see how it is tomorrow and if any worse ill go to the docs on Sat! I still have a cold and pharyngitis!

I have noticed something really really weird too! My nipples are purple (and im not cold!!) they have been like darker purple all day and even DF commented on this. Does anyone know if this is a PG symptom or just something odd? The aerola's ( sp, i think its that) are also darker but a browny colour... Felt my cervix and its high and firm and i always feel wet but its lotion like CM not EWCM! Also been having mild cramps, twinges and a few pains like O pains but not as bad or often... feel very bloated aswell!

Lets hope these are positive signs!

Goodluck everyone!

Morning:thumbsup:

Just a quick one before I head out for a day of op-shopping!

Kaz - :smiliedance:So excited about your BT results... was the prog looking good too?? How exciting will it be if there are 2 in there! Good luck at the markets over the weekend without your "partner in crime"

Ternaya - Fingers crossed that your symptoms might still be pg symptoms... many people report thinking that AF is about to arrive then getting their BFP

Lisa - Have a great time in Sydney

AFM - CD11 and have been feeling a little off and a few twingey pains...so maybe this is a sign of impending AF. Other than that not much happening...my work meeting wasnt overly stressful, but I have a feeling that the next week probably will be as we deal with the fallout of it! Alrighty...off to op-shop:D

Just a quickie from me as DS won't leave me alone - he is scared we won't take him on the aeroplane with us! Not hard to pack when you don't have many warm clothes - just taking all of them!

But I had to pop in and say a big YAY :yelclap: to Kaz - they are fantastic results and I agree - if you do the maths they are more than doubling every 48 hours, let alone 72 hours - hope there are two mini kaz's in there!

Have a great long weekend everyone - hopefully I'll be catching up with some fellow BHers!

Sounds like you are pregnant to me!! I had all of those signs too!! Fingers crossed!

SSM... why would you have people not happy for you being pregnant? Are you talking about family or friends? If there's one thing you need when you are UTD, it's support, so if anyone gives you grief, you need to keep away from their negative vibes! I hope you sore boobs are a sign of a BFP! Good luck!

Kaz, your BT results are great!! Good luck for the next nine months! LOL! How many weeks are you?
I'm 7 weeks (according to last scan) but 8 weeks according to my dates. Have to go back for another scan on Wednesday.

someone was asking about anyone that worked in childcare??? i've worked in several centres if you want any info PM me (not that i'll know how to check it but i'm sure i'll figure it out soon enough). Childcare is great i loved it, it can be stressful, but still awesome!!!
:goodvibes: and :babydust2: to all

That was me! My head is just not in the right space at the moment (career-wise). I am feeling so jaded. I've got a new boss who is a d***head and I'm sick of sitting behind a computer all day... have been doing this sort of work for more than 13 years now so it's time for a radical change. I've been thinking about next year becoming a family day care mum... just don't know if I'll be able to handle it as well as I think.

Von & Lisa, Have a great time in Sydney!
Jillybean... good luck with your test - hope it's a BFP!!
Kath, Big congrats on your wedding! :valentine: Sounds like you have a great doctor, and the decision to have a c-section is probably the best thing for you and your bubba.

Sorry for those I've missed... there are some new faces I haven't met yet... I hope you guys don't mind me hanging out in here a bit longer. As I said, my GP wants another scan to check for viability, so I kind of feel like this pregnancy is riding on a knife's edge.
I've had terrible stomach cramps today and feeling yuck, so might head home early from work.
Hope everyone enjoys the long weekend... unfortunately, I'll be at work again on Monday. :crying:

I'm hoping, wishing and praying that AF doesn't show up this month...

Because if she does then we've decided we won't be trying anymore :gloomy: at least until we have both finished studying (which will be end of the year)... Well I guess in some way we will be... Cos its not like we're going to be using birth control unless I can't move past it then I will be going back on the pill :( I'm not going to totally abandon bubhub... I still want to know what's going on with everyone, I just won't be keeping track of cycles (except to know when AF is due) or monitoring CM or writing what CD I'm at or anything like that...

But for now I am 13DPO and CD25... The sorness in my B@@bs that I talked about yesty only lasted about half an hour to be replaced by a dull ache... I'm not feeling sick today at all... Cramps have pretty much disappeared... I feel normal today  so I don't know what sort of sign that is...

Kaz - WOO... Those results are wonderful... Hope you do have a couple of snuggle bubs in there... How exciting... Not that long to wait til your u/s...

BabyJoy - Family... My in-laws (they think I've stuffed up DH's life as it is :banghead:), they hate me... and my grandparents and one of my aunts think DH and I are to young... Hope everything is alright with your little one!

Von - Poor little man! Kids are wonderful... Hope you have a great time in the big smoke...

Nic - SUrely it wouldn't be AF just yet... Might be a good sign for you... Perhaps O!

Lisa - Have a great trip...

Tiarna - The B@@b and nipple thing does sound like a HUGE sign... I still have my FX for our duo BFP... I really think you should go to the hospy you might need quartizone and a steroid... My DH had to have those when he had an allergic reaction... Its only 2 tablets.. .No needles or anything icky... Hope you're feeling better soon!

Hi to everyone I've forgotten... I know I have... Trying to adjust to this huge decision... :hugs:'s and :babydust2: to all...

Afternoon

Kaz- your bt results sound very good. Bring on your u/s.

Babyjoy- I'm sure everything will be fine, good luck at your next scan.

Craftymum- I hope you have a great time.

Jillybean- there's nothing better than having a girls weekend, have fun!

Nic- Glad your meeting wasn't too stressful, you don't need any added stress right now.

SSM- try not to put too much pressure on yourself. I know it's easier said than done but if I have learnt anything from this rollercoaster it's that the more positive & relaxed you are the easier it makes the journey. On the bright side if you do decide to wait until the end of the year, ti'll come around quick as the year is just flying by.

AFM- just waiting for AF to turn up now. I have to say that I'm more nervous about starting IUI than anything & I have so many things swirling around in my head it's not funny. I'm really not looking forward to the injections, I'm worried about having to go backwards & forwards to Perth all the time, I'm worried my DH will find it all too hard, I'm worried it won't work but at the same time worried it will & I'll have another mc. But we'll get there & hopefully look back at it all & wonder what I was so worried about.

just a quick one from me will jump on and do personals later, seen the doctor today after being stuffed around by the new receptionist he has put me back on clomid and having my cycles monitored again will give me a cycle or two with this and then if nothing on to the next step

My b@@bs are hurting A LOT!!! I cannot touch them and I won't let Matt touch them... If he even hugs me to hard I scream... They are tender and sort of hard  I've never ever had this before AF EVER!!! I've had sensitive nipples but NOT achey b@@bs tbh... I've said I've had achey b@@bs but this was only for a little bit and very mild... These hurt so much I wanted to cry last night when DH and I DTD and he was playing with them :o poor DH!!!

I KNOW I should take a HPT... and I KNOW that at 14DPO (CD26) it will give an accurate result... But I want to hold on to this cycle for as long as I can because if AF does show up then its no "trying" til next year... its a decision for the best I know... and I was the one who made it... I just don't want a :bfn: to ruin my hopefullness... Plus there is still the thing of trying to convince my DH I need to take one...

I'm still hoping for a :bfp: but I'm not likely to get it... the odds are stacked against me... I'll just have to wait it out...

I may try and broach the subject of testing with my DH later today as he wants to go out on the town... Possibly if I spin the I want to have a few drinks angle and just want to be certain I may get what I desire...

MK - Am trying not to put pressure on myself hopefully a break will do some good... :hugs:'s its ok to be worried... But try to worry less... I know its easier said then done I know... Hope all goes well...

RN - :fingerscrossed: this little push is all you will need and no next step will be necessary...

Everyone else - HI...

Hi Ladies

How are we all?

Ternaya - Sore boobs are a great sign! FX for our duo BFP!

How is everyone else today?

AFM - CD 27 and got a VERY POSITIVE OPK last night, it was twice as dark as the control line and came up within 30 seconds. DF and I couldnt BD last night as he was way too tired but did another OPK this morning and still a positive... darker than last night! DF and I bd'd just before so im hoping im going to catch this little eggie! I cant believe i have O'd so late. I usually have a 33 day cycle! So if anything i wont be able to test for another 2 weeks. Grrr here i was thinking that i could test in a week or so. I am so happy to finally see a + OPK but! CP is up very very high and i have a little EWCM so i must be ovulating. CP feels a little firm but so not sure whats with that!

I heard you can get positive OPK's when your UTD but i think im probably just Oing late!

The rash has gotten alot worse and i cant hardly breathe because my throat is so swollen and my nose is blocked. Im going to go to the hospital tonight if it doesnt get any better!

FX this is OUR month!

Hello ladies...

Tiarna - that is pretty late... Oh aren't our bodies wonderful things at times... Still got my FX for you sweetheart...

Nic - What colour are you painting the house??? I've always been keen to paint a room or something but never have as yet... Perhaps when we FINALLY get round to building or buying our house... Not for a little while yet though...

Kaz - That is even better :flowerz:... Hope your u/s finds 2 snuggle bugs in there...

Everyone else - How are you all going??? Enjoying your holidays and long weekend???

AFM - Still having some very positive signs... Latest being I went to kiss DH before bed last night and he had cigarette and coffee on his breath :barf: I almost barfed on him... Been feeling sick the last few nights...

AF is definitely due TOMORROW... No signs of her arrival that I normally have such as cramping, spotting or any sort of "wetness," I'm completely dry :o (TMI) the only thing I have (and its WORSE and different, like I said yesty) is the sore boobs... Still can't touch them and they are heavy...

Well I am going to the doctor on Tuesday... So there I will ask him to do a test because DH hates HPT's and I can't find a way to get one behind his back other than this  I'm going to ask him to let me look at it first though because I don't want to be told yay or nay...

:babydust2: for all!!!

Kaz - Yay! Good news that your HCG is so high!!

Ternaya - I know what you mean about DH not liking HPT's...my DP always tries to get me to wait until AF is at least a week late... doesnt work though! Your symptoms are sounding very promising...so I will be keeping everything crossed for you!
We are painting the outside of the house at the moment and are painting it a brown/taupe sort of colour with a dark/stormy blue trim (prob sounds funny but looks great...will have to post a pic when we are done!) we have painted the kitchen and hallway inside - the kitchen is light blue and the hallway is brown/beige... we will be painting the lounge room and bedrooms soon too! We went and looked at lounges today and think we might have picked a new one! We have kind of a nuetral yet tropical colour scheme with chocolate, beige, dusty green and light blue (we started with some blinds we bought for the dining room and its gone from there!!)

AFM - I have been feeling really queasy and my mouth is watery...but it only happens at night. Now this is how my m/s was with my first two pregnancies... but I know I am definitely not pregnant...so do you think it could be a sign of O? Or maybe I am just losing the plot and imagining things:laughing:

Hey Ladies,

Well its nice to be back home. Cant believe how cold it is here though! was a nice drive home from Sydney and DD did really well with the 10+ hour car trip which was great.

I have no idea what is going on with my body..... I thought I o'd last Friday as I had a lot of ewcm, HS CP, semi pos opk, temp dip, sore to BD, but then my temps havent really reflected O since... Another temp drop this morning at what is either 3-4 dpo or CD14 (normal O for me) maybe I am gearing up to O soon..... I have some niggly pains but no ewcm.... I have no opks yet so have no clue grr..... oh well, I have sorta written off this cycle!

Today I am just cleaning up the carnage from the trip to sydney, washing, dishes etc and just chilling out as DD is still sick with ear infections. Took her to the docs this morning and now we are up to 3rd round of antibiotics...

Lisa: How are you my sweet??? Are you still on clomid or is there a new plan of attac??? Did you see my wedding pics yet???
Hey Kath, I am going to make sure I check out your pictures today! Sorry I dashed to Sydney last week and got home late last night so have been a little hectic. No Clomid left, plan of attack is just natural cycles until we land that lovely bfp!

Hi,

I thought i'd join this thread as hubby and I have been trying for a bub now for nearly 14 months with no luck just yet.

I have been put on clomid, just started my 3rd cycle :fingerscrossed: we'll see how this one goes!

Is anyone else on clomid or has been on clomid before? Did it work for you?

i'm trying to be really positive, but it does get a bit hard.

Hi Ladies

Crafty - Lets hope you have already O'd and your body is just playing tricks with you
RN - How are you today?
W4ourangel - Welcome, lets hope your stay is a short one. Good luck with clomid this cycle

AFM - CD30 and DPO3. Nothing much to report as no signs atm can possibly mean im pregnant! I really think this month is going to be my month, dont ask me why i just have that feeling. Have been really gassy and had twinges and mild cramps in my belly, last night even a stinging pain near my belly button and also the INSOMNIA - boy would i love a good sleep. It is way too early to tell if these are signs or not but im feeling very positive that we have done it.

Ternaya- We ARE going to get our DUO BFP! i can feel it in my bones!

I am getting better now.. Finally! Phayngitis has gone and rash is starting to go away now. Still have the flu, but its not as bad as it has been over the last few days! Back to work tomorrow which is good as it will keep my mind off things for a few days and i wont be tempted to test!

Kaz- How is baby doing in there?
Mrsmoo - How are you today

Hello to everyone i have forgotten! How are we?

Good luck and FX ladies!

Welcome to our happy little thread... I have done 5 cycles of clomid and got pregnant on Cycle 2, 4 and 5...I am currently 6wks preg from cycle 5 but I have a history of recurrent miscarriage so I am not counting my chickens before they hatch. But without Clomid I wouldnt even be close to being a mum as I don't O well on my own if at all due to PCOS. I hope clomid makes your dreams come true.:goodvibes:
