Could I maybe suggest you get one of those childrens bibles. And read and discuss things the stories with your kids. It is good also because it is a story and they are learing, also it is family bonding time. Maybe spend time to making up your own family prayer???
I think it is wonderful that you are doing it, God luck hun!

Hi

Maybe show then different types of families

God and us

Church

mum and daughter/son

dad and daughter/son

Grandparents and grandkids

And that they all have the same job - to love and support each other unconditionally??

We did a few different lessons on family, including the whole family, brothers and siblings, etc.
Now its on family prayer....any ideas?

I was thinking maybe like let the kids have one line each of thier own to add to the prayer. That will be more involving for the kids.

Aaaah Trystan - why laugh!
Nursery is hard work. :o
Very stressful and to teach them is very demanding yet rewarding I must say.

Simon Says - that is a good idea
and of course always teaching by example.

Thank goodness I teach - don't have to organise the activity too.:smiliedance:
