Parents Group: Centenary/West Suburbs. Brisbane

Hi,

Just making other mums and dads aware of the parents group we have here in the w/subs.
This would be Jindalee, Mt Ommaney, Middle Pk and surrounding areas.
We also have a mum from a little further out so if you want to come along you are welcome to:-)
We'd love to have a few more members join us since not all can make the meetings every time and this would ensure we keep a good group going each get together.

:smiliedance: ooh how exciting im in these areas! i was just thinking of starting a post to see if there were more mamas or mamas to be next to me! although i wouldnt be able to meet up until ive had this bub as im still working everyday thurs is my only day off but then i go to our business. so hopefully not long now, all pending at my hosp appt on thurs 22/6 im trying to have bubs by 38 weeks without c/s.

Maria: Normally Mums will stay and chat for about an hour or so :-)
This gives you plenty of time for school pick up...
Its up to you how long you choose to stay for on the day.

Hi there.

I am Tiffany from Bellbowrie! I have 2 children. Tyler will be 4 on the 10th of July and Talisha is 21mths. I am interested in meeting up with other mums. I am going for my license on the 25th July! So I will be able to go anywhere I want and not have to worry about public transport:D I am also 20yrs old. Is this ok?

Could you please PM me further details of whereabouts the playgroup actually meets is it at the same location (suburb) each fortnight or do you go to different locations?

I live in Bardon so Jindalee & Mt Ommaney aren't to far away from me.

Also, what ages are the babies/children that attend the parents group and what do you do?

My nugget's due in a couple of weeks (oh, that was scary to say) so she won't be an active member of playgroup for a while, and the unfortunate thing is that I'll be going back to work when she's 6 months old.
Would I still be welcome to come? (you can say no, I won't be offended) at least to dabble my feet in the water and see how I go

Hi Iros34...i just joined the centenary mums group. we meet at different places each fortnight, this thursday (6th) we are meeting at rocks riverside park for a picnic, which is near sinnamon park. my bub is nearly 6mths there are a couple of others around the same age and another who's over a year...so a wide mix. i think our bubs are only a month apart...pm me if you want to know more and maybe meet you soon :wave:
