When do you change a cloth nappy?

How do you know when to change a cloth nappy?
How do you know if it's been wet or full?

With disposibles you can pretty much look at it and know. Is it the same for cloth?

generally i change after 2-3 hours (depending on the nappy) or if it has been soiled. i can usually tell when ds is wet and the nappy is full as he gets grumpy when his bum is wet.

mainly we just do regular changes tho.

:iagree: Even before we used cloth and DS was just in sposies, I still changed regularly rather than wait til nappy was full.
