Same Different or Otherwise each Pregnancy?

Hi Just a quick question - I am not sure if I am pregnant or not yet but woke up this morning feeling queasy and just threw up and now feel a bit better.

My question is... can Morning Sickness be different with each pregnancy or is it generally the same? With DD I never threw up once but felt queasy if I did not eat. This is how i felt this morning but felt too yuck to eat anything but now feel hungry so am going to have some plain toast.

Just trying to see if it is possible MS or a nasty bug (hoping is is MS!)

different every time for me

1. sick first 20 weeks - mostly only morning
2. no sickness at all (only boy)
3. sick for entire pregnancy all day every day.
4. sick for entire pregnancy all day every day
5. sick for about a month at beginning and then very very occassionally a small amount of nausea.

Hmmm so it is as I thought - can be very different each time! Well will get a HPT when I drop DD off at daycare and find out for sure I guess!

Different with both of mine as well

DS1 - Sick all day, every day for the entire pregnancy. Was hungry all the time

DS2 - Just a bit queasy every now and the occasional :barf:. It only lasted the first trimester and then I was fine. Hardly had an appetite at all for the entire time.

Both mine have been exactly the same.

Was not sick, tired or constipated with my first. This one however I have all three in titanic proportions. :(

It's 'usually' different for each pregnancy but some women will have the same for each.

Being so ill is such a pain in the proverbial though I take solace in the fact that all it means is my body is producing a high amount of pregnancy hormones which is a very good thing! It does get tiring taking the good with the bad though at times! :P

Hi Mrs Dolphin,

For my first (DD)I was sick (vomiting) most of day for first 6 months.

Second (DD) was the same, was very sick lost 10 kg from being so sick but it stopped about 6 months.

At the moment I'm pregnant with my third and it's very different..this time I haven't been physically ill (yet!) but all day every day feel very very quesy..it's a horrible feeling as it's been ongoing from Day 1 (I'm now about 6 weeks).

with my pregnancies they were all the same

#1 didn't get any nausea till around 9wks (boy)
#2 nausea till around 16wks (boy)
#3 only a teeny bit of nausea, till around 12wks (boy)
#4 only a teeny bit of nausea till around 12wks (girl)
