Birth Centre Port Macquarie

Hi Everyone

My husband has a new job so we are moving to South West Rocks in a few weeks. I am now 31 weeks pregnant and we have a 2 yr old son.

I heard there is a birthing centre at Port Macquarie and would love to hear about your experiences.

Any info on maternity services and having a baby in Port or Kempsey would be greatly appreciated.

Hi bletopaz i lived in swr when i had my 1st baby i had her at port macq i found they were ok i have had friends have babies in kempsey hospital & they have said it was great the staff are good & it has just been done up.

Thanks for your reply Princessmummy. I have heard all good things about Kempsey Hospital. I even heard that some women travel from Port to Kempsey to have their bubs.

It's reassuring to hear positive reports about Kemspey as i will be 8 months pregnant when we move.

We should be at SWR aroud the 20th June.
