what the debate is about

in an attempt to establish some common ground between pros and antis, id like to explain what the debate is really about.

it isnt about whether or not circumcision is a good idea.

it is about choice.

i contend that we are both pro choice, and the debate is about WHOS choice it is.


i was told that if i dont want to be circumcised, "then dont do it".

I guess that agrees with my point of view, its not my foreskin to remove, if my son chooses to have it done later in life, so be it. I would rather not have to put him through it and potentially have him resent me down the track.
