Hello bub hubbers.
I bought some Shower Power yesturday and I was very dissatified with it. The handle didn't work at all, I had to use a handle from another brands cleaning product. The bottle and the websites indicate that Shower Power removes soap scum. It didn't do anything for my shower screens, they are still covered in soap scum. Does anyone have any tips for removing soap scum from shower screens? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Elbow grease & baking soda might work. Or I used to use Jif (powder) on the wet shower screens, but again it takes a bit of scrubbing with a brush or sponge. Both Jif and the baking soda are mildly abrasive but won't scratch glass.

i think i have used every cleaning product in the world to clean showers n baths and found them all to fail to some level.
I have moved house alot and therefor have had to clean alot of showers. I now use and swear by CLR. I dont use anything else now, other then domestos for mopping and general cleaning. CLR can be used on anything, regardless of what the back label says  Ive used it everywhere to get results and wont be waisting another dime on anything else
The best finish I've ever done was bi-carb and lemon jouse (or vinegar - but lj smells better!) to get rid of build up, then metho and newspaper to do the final clean. Takes a bit of elbow grease though! When doing the metho make sure you do one side of the glass in an up-down motion, and the other in a left-right motion 'cause it's easier to see the bits you miss. Having siad all of that, I was very pregnant at the time and cleaning everything in sight so after close on 2 hours my shower (yes, JUST my shower) looked amazing! I've never spend that much time before - or since! LOL!

I use the oates envoiro mitt for the bathroom and i swear by it for my shower recess, bath and vanity it gets my chrome taps looking new
i have tried shower power bam and several others and this is my favourite
I have found a little trick that makes it easier. At the supermarket you can buy a dishwashing brush type thing that has a replacable scourer on the end and you fill up the handle with dishwashing liquid.
I usually squirt domestos around (or jif if the smell of domestos is too much), leave it for a bit, then use the scourer brush thingy on all the surfaces.
Or if you're lucky your hubby/mother/MIL/cleaning lady will do it for you.

I think metho works great and it's so cheap. I just pour some on a cloth nappy and wipe away. I haven't had to scrub for ages! :D
Another good thing for cleaning glass is plain old dishwahing liquid. Just squirt a tiny amount on a damp cloth nappy and it gets rid of sticky little hand prints.
