Well hi there. ive just been thinking now my bubs 11 weeks what i wish i had known to expect, i know im still in for a big learning experiance but would like to help those with some great advice i wich i had known.
so the first thing is:
when bub is born he/she dosent look at all like you see in pictures, there all puffy and have spots all over them. and my bub was blue and not breathing, he had to be resused, but he was fine, the do 2 scores on there health in the first 10 mins the first is immediate my boy was a 3.... not breathing and limp. they took him and gave him resus right next to me (just sucked stuff out from his mouth and a few puffs of oxygen. this is quite common. i didnt know this and became terrifed, i creied, and they wouldnt even tell me the sex of him.... i felt so horrible.
:the second thing. breastfeeding dosent come naturally. it helps to see a lactation consultant.
:another thing babies do cry i know were all aware of this but they cry alot more than you think. if you have tried everything and bub is still crying its ok to put them down in a safe place ie bassenette and go outside for five mins. this can really save you from breaking down and crying yourself.
:dont feel bad if you suddenly feel like its 5pm and u didnt even get dressed, its a really tough transition, things do get better, and just as soon as ur used to something it will all change again.
and my last bit i can think of is those 8 week vaxx my lil one took the syrup then held his breath, had to blow in his face, then after the second nedle he held it again. and the lumps lasted about a week.
