As per my nick - I'm Aden's old man :)

Just wanted to say hello and comment on what a wonderful little community you've got here!

Only regret is I didn't find this site earlier!

Proud dad here - Aden's 11 months atm, and like me - on the chubby side. Got a 2nd on the way (a princess!!:D:D) too, so there goes sleep again (Aden only just started to developed longer sleeping patterns).

Anyway, got a ton of questions and hopefully might be able to lend a hand on my personal experiences as well.

G'day Lut, jo, caz - thanks for the welcome (and of course seekrit ;)).

Caz - love the name of your son ;) --> seems your bub is almost the same age as mine! My wife and I had a debate over spelling of Aden. My wife wanted 'Aidan', while I preferred 'Aden'... unfortunately, dad's not the best speller, and Aidan involved an extra letter ;)

That said, at least we both agree on daughter's name --> Ashley :D

lol. Actually, to tell you the truth - I wasn't really into this whole 'baby thing' until my son was born.

Scared witless (I was only a young 28 years of age when he was born), and didn't think I was ready.

Needless to say, it was love at first sight (after I got over the hyperventilation and nausea in the delivery room).

Can't wait for no.2 - our daughters due late October. Tickled pink really... always wanted a 'little princess' to dote over :D

I've even purchased 3 baseball bats in anticipation for when she hits the teens and beyond...
