Hi

Just thought I would let you know that Ebay currently has freshmums breastfeeding tops going for $19.95 BRAND NEW, seconds BUY IT NOW. Great price if anyone is after any. I love them because you don't have to wear a bra with them. Wish they were that price when I got mine!!

It says that they are seconds due to a faulty dome and it easily repaired with a new dome. Do you know what the dome is? Is it a like a press stud fastener. I'm so not handy in the sewing department!

They look great though!

I have heard Kiwis use the word dome to mean a press stud, if that helps.

Thanks - I bought three - at that price I will sew on a new dome, press stud or whatever it might be called! I ws going to buy some anyway but getting three for the price of one plus postage makes a BIG difference!

thanks Theresa, just when i gave up, i found it!

just ordered two v neck sleeveless tops, $25 each, they are $45 each on the freshmums site. they also have bellybands for $7.

i must be so weird, according to the Fresh mums size chart, i am a size 12 in the bust and a size 16 in the hips, ordering a size 14 and crossing my fingers!

my very first ebay purchase! (i am so pathetic)

after some emails with the Fresh mums rep, i ended up going to a real life maternity shop to try on some of the tops to work out the sizing.

the rep was great in emails, helping me to work out which size to get.

service was good (i had never bought over the net before and was a little nervous) and the top i ordered has now arrived. The "fault" is that in the row of snaps across the bust line, the middle one doesn't snap shut. I just sewed a press stud close to the broken snap and now the top is fine - fits me perfectly. Hope it still does in three months time when i give birth and actually need to use it!

To anyone who is unsure about snaps, they are just like press studs, except made of plastic stuff.

If you can sew a button on fabric, you will be able to sew a press stud on.

Great bargain and thank you to whoever started this thread for the tip off! I am very happy with the top i bought.
