OK this is here in the discuss it section because although the reason is anti-circ it ended up happening anyway.
The topic of circ come up at my parents today because my little nephew is about to be done. Mum was sharing the story of what happened when she went to have my second brother (bub's Dad) done. She was still in hospital after the birth and asked the Dr when he was going to do the circ to which the Dr said he wasn't.
Well Mum cracked it and told him what for. The nurse then chimed in too. Mum excuse was that she couldn't have one done and not the other and the nurse said "but what if he wants to play football?"
The Dr's response "Well he's not going to play football with the bloody thing is he":laughing::laughing::laughing:
And yes I'm fully aware that this makes light of a very serious issue....but I see the funny side of the Dr's comment.
