Hi :)
I'm new to Australia, moved to the Sunny Coast in Dec, but before I left my best mate gave me this recipe. (she lives in Vietnam and says its the only thing that stops home sickness!)
Thought I'd share this recipe with you all! I know I miss my onion soup dip and yams with my roast. But most of all I miss cookie time bikkies with my coffee!
here is a recipe, you will be amazed how much they taste like cookie time
Cookie Times.....
225g Butter
1C Brown Sugar
1C White Sugar
2 Eggs
2Tbs Hot Water
2tsp Vanilla Essence
3 1/4C Flour
1tsp Salt
1tsp Baking Soda
1pk Choc Buttons (Or I break up cakes of choc so they are more like the real deal)
Cream Butter and Sugars until light and fluffy. Add Eggs, Water and Vanilla, beat and then add dry ingrediants. Bake at 180degrees for 15-20 mins. I actually bake twice as long...... 15ish mins on the bottom shelf then 15 on the top so they cook right through.
enjoy :)
