Positive then negative then positive again.

I am now 10 days late for aunt Flo. I have done about 10 tests and i have no idea if i am pregnant or not.

I did a test on the day i was due it was positive. I did one the next day it was negative. I have been doing at least one a day since and this morning it was a very faint positive.

I have decided to wait a few more days and then test again. Has anyone else had this?:confused:

have u been using the same tests each time u test?
different tests read different hcg levels
there is normally never a fake positive so if u have had a positive test even once i would go to the doctors to get it confirmed they might even send u for a blood test if it doesnt come up in the urine test
normally a negative after a positive means either your hcg levels are to low (meaning ur not very far along) for the test ur using and it wont pick it up or its a false negative
maybe go to the chemist and ask them to find the one with the highest hcg reading possible and use one of those
remember the levels are highest with ur first wee in the morning
but i would pretty much say u are pregnant and to go to the doctors to get it confirmed

Its very rare to have a false positive. Id say you are pregnant. Congratulations :) Book in to the doctor and they will help confirm it.

I have been using the same tests. I have been using first response.

I now have had 2 more negatives.:confused::confused::confused::bfn::bfn: :bfn:

Gah.

I am now 15 days past when my period was due. I am tempted to go buy more tests but i have washing on the line and i need to run out and get it if it starts raining.

With my 2 kids first response picked up the pregnancy on the day of the missing period.

Im in same boat with AF being 10 days late. If i were you i would either stop testing for 1-2 weeks (cause if you are pregant you are pregnant) or go to doc for a blood test. i have read a few threads on women who got negative home preg test results up until they were 10-12 weeks along, so low hcg hormone doesnt necessarily mean early pregnancy. the pill greatly effect the hormone so if you have come off of it to ttc that could be a contributing factor. if you arent patient enough to wait another1-2 weeks to test (understandable) then take a trip to the doctors for a blood test. good luck:)

I went to the supermarket this morning and grabbed a different brand test. Clear Blue???

I did all the tests in the pack and i was a Little thin BFP both times.

and thanks i have been on the pill, i only stopped when i got the first bfp.

i dont know whether or not to be happy. 12 month age gap.....eeep.
