I'd like a bit of reassurance.
I have a 4 w/o DD who is breastfed. She feeds well, is mostly happy and is putting on weight well.
She still has green poo, and I would have thought it should have turned mustardy by now. I have read it can be caused by too much fore milk, my question is more, is this a problem that I need to do something about, or will we just grow out of it?
I asked the ABA and they said it's fine as long as she's happy, but I forgot to mention that the poos smell acidic.
Anyone got experience with this? I'd love to hear from you.

TMI, but is it frothy green at all? Sometimes that can indicate a dairy intolerance (say if you have a glass of milk etc) and they are reacting to it as it comes through your breastmilk.
Have you changed anything in your diet, I know that when I was breastfeeding DS2, I was told to limit the amount of juice and also not to drink too much milk (but still drink it for calcium for your bones!) as it can affect bub's.
If she's happy though, I dont know TBH

Thanks for your reply Team blue
Nope it's either a bit spinachy or just normal baby poo looking but green.
And my diet hasn't changed at all.

My DD is 12 weeks and only in the last few weeks did her poo go from green to mustardy - I actually didn't even know it was supposed to change! Now looks like pumpkin soup :)

Could it be something simple like wind?

Sounds like good advice from ABA here is a link to there section on that issue
http://www.breastfeeding.asn.au/bfinfo/lactose.html
my baby had green sloppy poos and a lot of them and heaps of gas.. i did some research and apparently she was getting too much lactose, ie foremilk.
just feed off the one breast for 2 feeds and then swap over to the other breast for 2 feeds
as there is more lactose in the foremilk. or perhaps if you have enough express the foremilk off.

Forgot to mention that when my DS2 had this problem my LC recommended allocating one breast for 3hrs then the other breast for 3hrs. I would talk to your LC or ABA before doing this though :)
