We have just got home from a long day at Starship Childrens hospital
:(
I took liam to the doctor as he had a fever the night before and nothing helped bring that down hes temp at the docs was 40.9 and they gave me a script and sent me home!!!!!!!!!!!
As i was picking up his meds he started having a Febrile convulsion and i rushed him back to the doc which luckly just across the road. They gave him oxygen and pamol and brofin but his temp still took 2 1/2 hours to come down to 38.4 they sent me home! I came home not happy and wanting answers i understood that he had a convulsion because of his high temp but i didnt know what caused his high temp ( the doctor told me that he had red ears but later was told in hospital they were fine)
Not happy i rang the doctors back and went and saw another doc he took liams temp and said it had gone back up to 39.9 and send me to the hospital right away.
Anyway to cut a long story short we waited 7 hours at the hosptial until we were even seen and liam was given more meds to get his temp down which it didnt work. Was seen by the doctor for 5 mins and he was sent home.
I still dont know whats wrong with him!!:mad: :crying:
