Quick Teething Question

What are the signs of teething?

My bubs is 15 1/2 weeks, he constantly drools, and is constantly chewing his hands and anything else he can grab! Also his cheeks are red (not sure if relevant, but told it was??) He has been unsettled lately and has probs going to sleep also??

Is he teething or is this normal??

Its quite possible that he is teething. When Brianna started teething she dribbled a lot and constantly chewed on her hands (or anything else she could put in her mouth!) and she was also very restless.
She still hasnt had any come through yet!!!! :rolleyes:

My son had the same symptoms from about 5 months and no teeth showed till after 10 months !!!!
But as far as i know these are teething signs...

hey there,
my son did all this at 12 weeks nothing appeared til 5 months though, it would go on and off. When his teeth do come through he gets very red cheeks, irratable, eats/drinks more, chews, dribbles and wakes at 3 am. without fail he will wake it 3am on the dot when he teeths.

It sounds like teething to me. Angus cut his first tooth when he was 15 weeks old and Caleb cut his first tooth when he was 14 weeks old. Nobody believed us until they put their fingers in their mouths to feel the teeth, well that is apart from Aunty Shandi because when Angus cut his first she was babysitting for us. Just make sure you have teething gel on stand by. It does say not to use until 4 months old but we took Angus to the Dr which didn't believe us that he was teething until he felt in his mouth and they said that it is fine to use it just a little bit at a time.
