Returned to work

Hi All
Back at work this week. What a change.
Its only early days but I must admit I am happy to be working and now hope I can make it all balance out.
My son is still unhappy when I leave him in childcare but have been told he is now starting to explore and play when last week he wanted adult contact all the time.
My biggest hurdle is my current office location means 1.5 hours drive home and at night I am lucky if I get to spend an hour with him. Just time for his BF then cuddle b4 bed.
My husband has been picking him up early and giving him bath and dinner. I couldnt do it without him. He has been really supportive.
My job does involve external appointments so once back into it I am hoping I can make them later in the day so to try and get home a bit earlier. Time will tell.

well done and congrats you made it thru your first day.... the hardest part is now over! i cant believe you have to drive an 1.5hrs to work i complain about the 10 min drive into the city to work and 15mins on the way home in peak hour traffic!
keep us posted on how your going!
im sure your little bubs will be fine.
ive just put in my leave forms and my last day is oct 31st.. in some ways i cant wait! and in another way ill miss my job and best friends for the next 12mths
