Minced Meat Recipes...

Okay Girls,

I have some minced beef that I have thawed and want to make something for dinner before I go to work this afternoon.......

I'm just a little over lasagne, spag bol and meatballs......any suggestions???

You could make savoury potatoes.
Just make your bolognaise sauce as normal, hollow out the potatoes, stuff them with the mince, then bake until the potatoes are cooked through.
Serve with a dollop of sour cream and grated cheese.

Maybe Chow Mein, meatloaf, shepherds pie!! Yummo!!

Shepards Pie for sure.

Cook onion and mince, add stock cubes and gravy powder (I am sure you could use some other sort of thickener with a flavour of your choice instead if you wanted to), add water. Stir and simmer until it thickens a little, You can add veggies too.

Make up a pot of Mash potato ( a little sloppier than normal). put the mince in a cassorole dish and put the mash on top with some cheese and pop in a 180 degree oven for 20-30 mins or until the cheese is golden brown.

VERY yummy!!!

Although I like the sound of Chow Mein too, I have everything I need for Shepards Pie so no trip to the supermarket...:smiliedance:

I LOVE SHEPHERDS PIE!! I also slice off cheese and put a layer of it between the potato and the meat. It helps to stop the meat bubbling up through the potato and making it soggy. Also tastes yummy!! Can never have too much cheese!! Hope you enjoy!!!
