View Full Version : Cheap - do your own - bouquets

Well, i've just brought all of my flowers (minus dd's, as i have no idea what sort of arrangement to do for her) to make all of the bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids.... And its only come up to approx $80 for all of it so far.... Granted, i need to get ribbon or something to wrap around the stems etc....

What can i say? Spotlight is great for fake flowers! :yelclap: :smiliedance:

Granted, i'll be getting a real arrangement for myself for the actual day, but i wanted one that i can keep forever too....

Well done! :) We did our own flowers and they were $50 all up, far cheaper than the florists quote....
DD help an individual flower with ribbons and beads hanging from stem.

I've already made the toss away bouquet, and tied together one of the bridesmaids.... I'll post pics as soon as i can get them uploaded on my photobucket account lol.....

:oi went to the florist the morning of our wedding, picked out a big bunch of, oh, gosh, i cant remember the name, but anywho, cost $12, got my boquet, bridesmade and pinholes! just had the ribbon on top of it!
tehehe, just couldnt see the point in paying all that money!

Well here are two of the pics i've taken so far of the Throw-Away posy....

Today i wrapped some pink ribbon around the stem and it looks really cool.....
