View Full Version : Intergenerational playgroup
Hello , If anyone would be interested in joining an Intergenerational playgroup to be held at th Adi Mills centre in Gosnells, please feel free to msg me.
The playgroup will be starting in October and all are welcome To come along, And if we get enough interest then we will probably have more than one session and we will split the groups into appropriate ages.
Also if you are interested in Intergenerational playgroups there is one starting earlier the 29th June also in Gosnells at a different location.
A great idea for people that may not have grandparents for there bubs like me!:) or a great idea if you want to get out and meet new people.
That's where you take your kids to see older ppl isn't it? Like in old folks homes. I think that's a lovely idea. It makes the oldie's day. Kids get spoilt too and have an absolute ball! Pity it's in Gossies. A bit oo far away for me. Do you know of any around NOR?
I would be very interested in joining your playgroup! I have just moved back to the area a few months ago after living NOR and would like to start making friends around here again. Let me know!
ben and i already go on wednesday mornings to a hostel in mtlawley
the oldies love it
and so do the kids
they all have a ball
i would be interested in going to a different one but it would depend on what day it was
my social calander is filling up very fast lol
Im interested too but live NOR so if you know of any up this way please let me know. All my families in NZ so it would be good to find some addopted grandparents for Elijah!
i would just ring around a few of the old age homes and ask them if they do one if not ask then if they would mind if you tried to organise a few mums to come every week
im sure they wouldnt mind
Hello, Just an update on the intergenerational playgroup for next Monday the 26th june, It starts at 10 and it is being held at the Mcmahon High Care facility behind the Gosnells markets. And if you would like to find a intergenerational playgroup in your area just ring playgroup wa and they should be able to tell you of a session in your area, or you can start your own.
Hi, i would be very interested in the one starting in october, i have an 18mth old and by then a nearly 2mth old, as long as thats ok.
Let me know if it is still happening.
P.S Im in Southern River, thats next to Gosnells yes?? (new to perth..hehe)
Are there many in Perth? Im thinking it might be something I can do with Bug. We never had one at the nursing home I used to work at but when I went back to say Hi the oldies loved her!
im not sure if there is that many in perth i guess the only way to know is to ring either playgroup aus or ring around a few nursing homes
i goto one in mtlawley i found out bout that one cause my mum works there thats the only reason i know of it
My schedule is already packed for this term but if you send me through a word doc of a flyer/info about the playgroup I'll print it out and put it up at playgroup and at the school for you and you might get a few that way.
Also if you haven't already - the library and the child health clinics are good places for flyers. :)
