I just saw on the news that SA are banning plastic bags in shops:thumbsup: People will now have to bring their own or buy reusable ones.

I just have be more careful now about putting my bags back in the car after I unpack them otherwise I'm going to be in a bit of strife.

I hope it spreads too!! Would be good if we banned them all together but thats going to take some time I think.

Lately I've been remembering them about 90% of the time, but it still slips my mind a bit. Argh.. I've actually walked out of the no bag checkouts a few times with the groceries in my arms - bagless :rolleyes:

Oh wow I thought it was Australia wide, well there you go :) I'm the same, we have had reusable bags for about 12-months but 9/10 times I forget.

Sometimes I feel guilty and buy more whilst I'm there but we're getting a big collection so can't keep doing that! Also Target has been charging 10 cents per plastic bag for about a month or so.
