Any had luck TTC a GIRL?

Hi all,

I have a DS and absolutely love him to pieces. As my DH and I will only have one more bub, I would ideally like to have a girl (as would he). Even up the odds!

Has anyone followed the 'rules' for having a girl and it's worked? If so can you give me any advice?

I know the rules - from the book by the renown Dr in the USA... but I wanted to know if anyone had personal experience with following the rules to have a girl?

I want to give this the best shot possible, but I am not silly... I know it's not an exact science.

Ideally we'll try in Oct/Nov and with a reasonably irregular cycle, I need a few months of tracking. We have no fertility issues but I am aware that trying for a girl can take longer. Whatever it takes.

Advice is absolutely welcome.

I tried for a girl with DD and worked

I used position timming and no big o's.

I would just say use ovulation tests cause each cycle can be different. Bed at night not the morn to make sure if u get a positive the next day there is enough time for the lil boy ones to slow down. Test twice a day morn and night to be sure cause it can rise and drop that fast. Once u get a positive no more bedding for about a week to be sure.

I got PG with a girl on my second cycle after DS2 wich was the first cycle I really tried. Though my three wear bout 13 months apart each so I do tend to fall easily. lol

That said I am TTC for about 9 months now but I was breastfeeding.

Any questions PM me! I am sure I answered this thread but I have done lots of homework on this and if you have regular cycles and can tell exact ovulation you will be in luck.
